Während manche Vermögensverwalter jetzt auch auf Ripple (XRP) und Solana (SOL) setzen, hält sich BlackRock aus dem Altcoin-Rennen heraus und bleibt weiter bei Bitcoin (BTC) und Ethereum (ETH). Robert Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets bei BlackRock, bezeichnete “die meisten Altcoins als wertlos” und warnte vor den Hunderttausenden von Projekten ohne nachhaltigen Nutzen.

Der Vermögensriese hält derzeit rund 84 Milliarden US-Dollar in Bitcoin und 15 Milliarden in Ethereum. Er dominiert damit in beiden Assets den ETF-Marktanteil. Statt auf neue Coins zu setzen, treibt BlackRock die Digitalisierung klassischer Finanzprodukte voran. Der tokenisierte Fonds “BUIDL” hat seit seinem Start in 2024 bereits fast 3 Milliarden US-Dollar erreicht.

Schätzungsweise 72 Anträge für Altcoin-ETFs warten noch auf Zulassung bei der US-Wertpapieraufsicht, SEC, darunter welche für XRP. Vergangene Woche gingen Spot-ETFs für Hedera und Litecoin an den Markt, die so gut wie gar keine Zuflüsse verbuchten. Zwei Solana-Spot-ETFs erreichten immerhin ein Gesamtkapital von rund 500 Millionen US-Dollar. Trotzdem zeigt sich: Die Nachfrage an Altcoin-ETFs ist sehr viel geringer als nach Bitcoin oder Ethereum.

Der Vermögensriese mit 13,5 Billionen US-Dollar unter Verwaltung will Anleger über tokenisierte ETFs aus der Krypto-Welt in klassische Produkte führen. “Wenn wir ein ETF tokenisieren, können wir Menschen, die über Krypto investieren, in langfristige Vorsorgeprodukte holen”, erklärte Fink.

Der Markt für Tokenisierung liegt laut Mordor Intelligence bereits bei über 2 Billionen US-Dollar und soll bis 2030 auf mehr als 13 Billionen US-Dollar anwachsen. BlackRock ist mit dem BUIDL-Fonds (2,8 Milliarden US-Dollar Volumen) schon heute führend im Segment tokenisierter Geldmarktfonds.

Fink betont, die Branche stehe “erst am Anfang der Tokenisierung sämtlicher Anlageklassen – von Immobilien über Aktien bis zu Anleihen”.

Mein persönliches:

Um etwas reicher zu werden bedeutet von den reichen zu lernen. Im kommenden Jahr werde ich überwiegend in Bitcoin investieren und nur kleinere Beträge in Ethereum,XRP und Solana. In meinen Lieblings Coin Hive werde ich erst wieder investieren wenn ich interessante News lese. Momentan enttäuscht mich leider dieses Projekt.

Wer unbedingt in Altcoins investieren möchte sollte genau schauen ob du dieses Projekt auch in Zukunft nutzen möchtest. Halte dich fern von Hype Projekten!

An estimated 72 applications for altcoin ETFs are still awaiting approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), including some for XRP. Last week, spot ETFs for Hedera and Litecoin launched, attracting virtually no inflows. Two Solana spot ETFs, however, reached a total capital of approximately $500 million. Nevertheless, it's clear that demand for altcoin ETFs is significantly lower than for Bitcoin or Ethereum.**

The asset management giant, with $13.5 trillion under management, aims to guide investors from the crypto world into traditional investment products via tokenized ETFs. "When we tokenize an ETF, we can bring people who invest in crypto into long-term retirement savings products," explained Fink.

According to Mordor Intelligence, the tokenization market is already worth over $2 trillion and is projected to grow to more than $13 trillion by 2030. BlackRock is already a leader in the tokenized money market fund segment with its BUIDL fund ($2.8 billion in assets under management).

My personal take:

To become wealthier, you have to learn from the rich. Next year, I will primarily invest in Bitcoin and only smaller amounts in Ethereum, XRP, and Solana. I will only reinvest in my favorite coin, Hive, if I read interesting news. Currently, this project is disappointing me.

Anyone who absolutely wants to invest in altcoins should carefully consider whether they want to continue using this project in the future. Stay away from hyped projects!
