NFTMart is no more. Where to buy DemoniCore NFTs?
Hello gamers! This is an update to acknowledge the sad news that NFTMart has closed up shop.
For most of DemoniCore's lifetime, NFTMart has been the exclusive place to buy and sell our game's NFT cards. They provided a simple, intuitive user interface that made it a pleasure to trade NFTs, not only for DemoniCore, but for many other games on our beloved HIVE blockchain. I appreciate all that the NFTMart team has done for us, and I wish them success in any future projects.
But now the question for our game is: where can we buy and sell NFTs for DemoniCore? Unfortunately, the answer right now is nowhere.
Well actually, you can always make an agreement to trade with another player offline. For example, let's say Alice agrees to buy a DemoniCore NFT from Bob for $1. After she pays Bob (e.g. using Venmo, PayPal, cash, or sending him the equivalent $DCORE in HIVE Engine), Bob can send Alice the NFT by clicking on the Send icon in the NFT inventory section of his DemoniCore player profile.
But of course, that is far from convenient, and we obviously need a functioning online NFT store at some point. I recently discovered Hive NFTs, which looks beautiful and currently hosts HIVE games such as Rising Star. Unfortunately they are inundated with requests after the closing of NFTMart, and there is no guarantee that our NFTs can be included there any time soon.
If you know of another HIVE marketplace for NFTs that is accepting applications for a new game, please let me know!
Another option is that I could code a simple in-game store myself. This is appealing to me because we wouldn't be dependent on a third party, but it would take time to complete (as well as time maintaining it after completion).
