Tras varios meses jugando sobre Rising Star Game… En estos momentos, la situación es como la del mítico Sísifo, reiniciando constantemente:

El progreso en County Tour es lento pero adecuado. Estoy disfrutando muchísimo, realizando misiones, como si no hubiera un mañana, para conseguir el nivel 200, que permitiría la entrada en la última isla Buskería, una vez realizada la misión Manager Interview con nivel 200. Deseando alcanzar la meta! La compra de NFTs XP es necesaria para conseguir el objetivo. Es uno de los propósitos inmediatos:

En otro orden de cosas, existen en Rising Star, vistosas cartas como las siguientes que permiten formar una extraordinaria banda como BLUR:

Nirvana, Oasis…grandes bandas, no obstante, en este apunte de música nos referiremos a Blur, extraordinaria banda de rock británica formada por el cantante Damon Albarn, el guitarrista Graham Coxon, el bajista Alex James y el batería Dave Rowntree. Todos ellos no se aguantan pero no importa: siguen siendo los más brillantes.

Blur lanzó el disco "Blur" en 1997. Este álbum contiene su primer número uno "Beetlebum", que pasó a ser su canción más famosa junto a la archiconocida "Song 2", que fue el segundo single. Fue un gran éxito de ventas y de crítica.

Si la importancia de un grupo se juzga por cómo sobreviven sus canciones al paso del tiempo, entonces Blur es una de las bandas británicas más importantes de… siempre. Pueden presumir de una obra que ha logrado captar el zeitgeist musical y la ola cultural de cada momento, y que sin embargo ha resultado siempre propia y original.

Blur ha bebido de algunas de las principales fuentes del pop británico: The Beatles, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Specials, pero que nunca ha parecido retro.

Ha logrado viajar por el mundo y abrir fronteras creativas sin renunciar a esa particular melancolía inglesa que le ha acompañado desde el principio y que se expresa en cada entrega discográfica.

“No me gusta cuando dicen que nos reunimos”, aseguraba recientemente Damon Albarn, en una rueda de prensa sobre “The Ballad Of Darren” (Parlophone-Warner, 2023), su último disco. “Me suena pretencioso y es incierto. Esto es lo que hacemos: canciones como Blur”, señalaba al respecto de su intermitente actividad en los últimos veinte años.

Esa sensación de que disfrutar de Blur es el sentimiento de que se está ante algo especial y siempre con la amenaza de que no vuelva a pasar.

Graham Coxon también subrayaba en aquella cita con la prensa que se establece una química mágica cuando los cuatro miembros están juntos: “Cada vez es más emocionante y nos traslada la responsabilidad de que no vale cualquier cosa, de que tenemos que cuidar lo que hacemos”.

Por último, Blur: To the end también enseña algo: que si eres inglés y rico nunca debes componer una canción como Country House, metiéndote con la gente que vive en el campo, porque lo más probable es que en el futuro tú también acabes viviendo en un cottage en las afueras.
