Reading this, I'm made to flash back to a time when I was teaching and another school was consistently trying to get me to work with them. A similar experience with yours too. But I think one just needs to learn to make choices.

Exactly. You have to learn to make choices and also think carefully so as not to eventually lose on both sides.
