I have no idea why anyone plays the voting game when an election can be annulled, the chosen candidate banned and referenda rerun until the desired outcome is achieved. It's just encouraging the buggers. Now if nobody voted, that'd be a result!

There's been a lot of talk about boycotting the vote, but in the end those who say we must do something won the argument.
Jose Saramago has a novel, Seeing, where people decide to cast blank votes... and the authorities try to destroy this "dangerous" movement. I haven't voted for many years, but the situation is desperate here.
