Next Steps - HiveHub Roundtable 2 - Part 2
In this video we discussed our plans moving forward for the week (some of which are already under way by the time of posting this video), such as working with infrastructure, managing our "pitch" and communicating in both spanish and english to both tech-savvy and tech-phobic people. It takes all types!
Join @starkerz, @buttcoins, @ninaeatshere, @ecoinstant and @ecoinstante as they discuss the different goals we have building together here in the HiveHub Guatemala project, here on Lake Atitlan.

All those ideas sound great to me and surely seem like a way to both pique the interest of people and keep it, at least for some time.
I would also not underestimate the power of helping people feel like they've found a home. Simply encouraging them to post about what's close to their hearts, helping them to connect with others who have similar aspirations, and helping them get curated in the process, can make a huge difference. I do some curation of programming content, and would be happy to curate newly-onboarded people who post stuff on such topics, and even help them understand the possibilities of blockchain tech. I imagine curators of other types of content would be similarly interested to help. We can even suggest how to tie blockchain to cycling, teaching or whatever.
It can all work to help a lot of folks find their niche interests, to find a part-time participation in the social media and the economy we're building here. Not a substitute but an addition to what they're doing elsewhere. The advantages seem very obvious.
