SPRING CHALLENGE: The Spring Embrace of the Tree of Life

A pure fractal made in Apophysis 2.09, mirrored and overlaid upon itself, and now minted at NFT Showroom!

There are two things I especially love about spring ... the openness of willow trees and the freshness of their green in spring, and spring flowers, and sometimes those two things come together in real life as they did here...

... and here ...

But often what impresses me about willow trees is how they look so much like they are in great robes, gently dancing in the wind, and ready to embrace anyone who draws near ...

... and this was the leading thought that informed me as I was overlaying a particular pure fractal I made in Apophysis 2.09 in 2024...

... mirroring it, and turning it upon itself to see what symmetries I could find. Of course, in this palette, it already looked like an array of flowers, a perfectly fine fractal as it is, but I knew there was much more to it, and at last as I worked, the rough shape of the willow's open look and draping leaves came into view in combination with the shapes of mounds of flowers!

Winters are not always cold overall in San Francisco, but life offers some miserably cold days, and the warmth of hope's embrace often is epitomized in the coming of spring. There is also a memory about the tree of life ... man perfect lived in sight of its beauty, man fallen was banished from it, man redeemed will return to it. That will be a spring to see, as the Scripture says it will bear 12 different kinds of fruits, one every month, and therefore will always be both in bloom and in fruit. The leaves, it is said, will also be used for the healing of the nations, so that is going to be one glorious tree. So for this spring challenge I offer a fractal glimpse of the eternal spring to come!

Are they not incredible -- literally at all seasons? So much fruit for the imagination ... and I am not done with this idea yet!

You're welcome ... and yes, I think often of Revelation 21 and 22, knowing that spring is coming, and in the meantime, what glimpses we have of it in advance might encourage others to want to know: "How can I be THERE?" I think of Psalm 19 often as I walk around, too!

That is what we desire...that is why I am here. The fields are white with harvest.

I shall read Psalm 19 with you in mind.

My all time favourite...Proverbs 8....vs1 wisdom/doctrine 'She' throughout is Doctrine personified...

Well, I consider Proverbs in light of this ... later in Scripture it says that our lives are to "adorn the doctrine," and also in Revelation 19, we are presented as the Bride of Christ, adorned with all the good we were given to faithfully do ... so, in Proverbs 8, wisdom stands in as the reflection of the goodness of God ... a "she," presaging that great scene when Israel is restored to her place as the earthly reflection of God's goodness (Ezekiel 40-48) and the later great scene when the Church at last is revealed in her place in Revelation 19.

So, I am a woman, and I notice Proverbs and all the different things ... in the unique way I am created, my life should start to look like that of Christ, translated through the uniqueness of being a woman ... which means I also will resemble "her," a reflection of His glory seen in the feminine.
