Motivational Mondays: A Walk Through Good News on the Urban Trail

This walk was not as long as it was probably intended ... I often go up to the University of San Francisco's Lone Mountain campus park in the winter because the mountain itself blocks the cold northern wind that dominates the winter weather on dry, sunny days, and the campus is quiet on weekends. Thus I discovered the Urban Trail!

There was a lot of food for thought on that sign, given us by Mr. Hal Urban and the sign maker.

Good news anything you see, hear, or read that makes you feel good ... let's begin by setting an intention to find our own good news...

So, I looked around, and in January, in that sheltered spot, there were some perennial survivors from last summer and autumn ...

... and heralds of the coming spring ...

... in multiple colors ...

... and I might not have seen them but for the reminder to look. What you see does depend on what you are looking at.

But, also, since I am someone led around by light, camera in hand, I found myself at the end of the Urban Trail -- which begins and ends by the library -- with a single change in direction.

I think Mr. Urban is right ... so I have passed on the good news to you, to help us look for more of it this Monday!
