What I see: a person, possibly a woman, carrying vegetables both in a tray on a stick and also in a bag, on a rainy day.

What I feel: The rain is not disturbing the person's routine at all; it is an accepted part of life.

The good thing was, the cool rain kept the veggies fresher.
Some would go into a pot with noodles and pork.
The rest would be sold to pay for the next two meals.
And after breakfast, again down the road.
A simple life, on which the sun will shine again.

How I miss a stew creole with yucca, plantain, immature cob of corn and beef; of course, made with firewood.

the beauty of resilience and normalcy amidst adversity. The woman's ability to continue with daily routine is truly remarkable.

There's a positive side found in everything like the vegetables staying fresh and a road not too crowded. Sun might cause the opposite.

I can't helo noticing the muscled legs.

Well-defined, good-looking legs ... up and down that road, day after day ... a simple life with subtle benefits ... and maybe a little easier, cooler, in the rain.
