It is necessary that this be acknowledged, so that justice can be sought and that healing can begin ... and so Christians like me can be reminded to follow Christ, not evil, and not do this kind of damage to other people.

There are a tremendous number of people who are going through this. It is literally my business in church to make sure that what we see in this prompt does not happen to younger people, but I know for many, the damage is done. Some of my peers -- and I am well past 40 -- have still not healed.
Evil is where people are and we don't expect it, young, old, sport, teachers, family
PEOPLE. We are all capable of doing incredible evil ... it is the saddest surprise humanity keeps finding in itself.
