The Future Is Decentralized- How Web 3 Is Changing Everything

My web 3 life at large has just been there untill I across this platform through a friend, normally I just hear people talk about forex trade eg bitcoin and the rest, back then in school I even registered for Pi network and was even mining, at a time I took it seriously..I mined for a while and introduced some friends into the app but at some point I changed my phone a couple of times and ended up loosing my password and I couldn’t have access to it again. So since then I never really thought about the web 3 world again not untill last two years, I was just home and doing nothing, then I asked a friend if there was anything to do on the net to atleast make money and build career, she joyfully said yes and that was how I was introduced to this very wonderful platform.

My journey started from Pi network but I ended up loosing it cause of carelessness, so now I would say my journey literally started here on hive, and it has been an amazing and interesting journey, I never saw myself as someone that would sit down to type a content for others to access but joyfully here I am doing it, sometimes its not such as easy task to do, I have tried introducing people here but after trying one or two, they would fall out and tell that writing isn’t really their thing.

To be honest at a point, I actually doubted the web 3 because at some point I didn’t really hear anything about the pi network, and even last year when mining of coins was the order of the day, so many people got scammed, after wasting much time, money and efforts nothing really came out, and for some the profit wasn’t even up the amount of usd spent.

But one thing that kept me going on here is that since I joined this platform, I have knowned different people, I have made so much, builded a career and not once have I ever gotten scammed by anyone, and by the way I made sure not to put money in mining platforms that I wasn’t sure off, plus I made extra so this has kept ke going knowing that web 3 still has alot more to offer.

Right now my web 3 journey so far has moved from where it used to be but I won’t say that it has gotten to where I want it to be, but there’s definitely a progress in my journey, last year I actively joined the mining sessions, This coin mining has obviously been done before, but as at then I didn’t know much and I didn’t participate and by doing so I would definitely say that there’s a progress.

So far in this web 3 journey the most important lesson I learnt is that we shouldn’t just put our money on every mining app or game that is created, many of them are scammers, we should be watchful and even the ones that looks true we shouldn’t put all our hopes into because the people that created them are also also humans like us and they could fail at any given time, its just like the bitcoin, the king of all coins it surely rises and fall and so many people go on to social media cry out, some people end up committing suicide when they have lost all of millions.

Lastly, so far my best part of web 3 is the part where I can acces financial services such as trading without using banks, it is global and open 24/7, it doesn’t need anyone’s permission, also as a writer I earn directly from my work, I get reward tokens which is really amazing and lastly anyone can build or participate in the web 3 space without approval from corporations or gatekeepers.
