Growing up in my country is never an easy one. Although I've always been very fascinated and believed that the universe only speaks in a way that sometimes you might not understand.

Well, from when I was a kid, from the way our elders read meaning into things, like a cock crows at the midnight, a sudden flight of an owl across the moonlight sky. We are taught to pay attention to all these kind of things and to interpret it as a sign of good or evil. So this moment that they say the universe is trying to guide us Or sometimes it's trying to warn us.

And I've had countless days of something like a...Countless days of a broken mirror. It was a personal experience that has made me a very strong believer of moments. That moment that felt like everyone was talking to me directly.

So one day in my area, a humid afternoon, I felt some kind of air that I hadn't felt for a very long time. The air was very heavy and the sun seemed to sit on my shoulders. It was like I was at the crossroads of my life.

I was there to choose between things in a safe, but uninterested job and chase my dream or start my own business. What kept me was the fear of failure. The fear of failure was very large compared to the fear of faith and courage. And I was running in so many doubts.

That faithful day, I walked through my streets. Seeing everyone hustling. And something caught my eye. I just saw a white feather from nowhere that just landed softly at my feet. And I can imagine in a place like my area where it is very busy, where there are a lot of people going about their business.

For me, that feather landed on my feet. And my feet felt like a big miracle, like I have to pick it up in that moment. And I felt very calm. It was as if the universe has remembered me that day and has come to tell me that I'm not alone, that they are also with me. And sometimes in our culture, we often see signs in nature as messages that came from the divine.

My grandmother would always say that feather was, a whisper from our past parents or ancestors. And sometimes this feather reminds us that courage is a rewarder. I have to carry this same feather home. And I kept it in my journal. I decided to throw the sign. Months later, can you imagine that my small business began to take shape? And I look back at the moment and that spark, that gave me courage.

Sometimes these signs don't have to scream. Sometimes they just come quietly, the way the feather came to me that day. And they might be personal, that might in turn be part of the fabric that makes up our lives, thus waiting for us to notice it.

In my country where we mostly blend tradition, faith, hope, hustle, this kind of omens can remind us to stay connected to something bigger.

So in case you're faced with a strange cloud, or you just hear a song that hits you differently, just pause. Maybe it's universe. It's universe that is trying to speak to you. Or it's the universe trying to send you a sign that you have to keep going, to trust yourself, to keep believing.
