The Power Of Love In Sharing Truth
Let me share something with y'all that my pastor told me one day that never left me, ever.
Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.
Jesus didn't just come to this world to demonstrate the knowledge of God. He demonstrated the love of God everywhere that he went. He didn't boast. He wasn't proud or self-seeking.
This is what that Bible tells us that love really is. He became a living example of what he was teaching to prove what his love was. I could speak with eloquent speech.
I could talk as loud as a clinging cymbal.
Without love, it means absolutely nothing.
Something that I feel like isn't talked about enough in the Christian community is how much love is actually being shown when you spit fat. Because if you speak the truth without love, it's going to go one way or not the other, and people are going to be offended.
The Bible says a brother offended is harder to reach than a strong city. You got to look at what you win it for. Ultimately, it's to demonstrate the love that was given to you through Christ Jesus. Jesus didn't just sell the product. He became the product. Demonstrating and living the love that I'm trying to spread through my words alone.
