CURE FOR CANCER
Cancer, what a heavy word. This sickness has been looming over so many lives. It has taken so many loved ones away from people and leaving scars that cannot be healed, both physical and emotional.
If we could find a cure, what could the cure be? Maybe not just a treatment, but a real one, a good cure. So let's try to imagine for a moment.
Picture a small lab where 18,000 scientists come together. They try to perform some experiments. And they have been working day and night for years to discover a cure for some disease that didn't have a cure. So they are not super egos, but they are just trying their best and not giving up. And I would say a little obsessed.
So one day, one of them, maybe Albert noticed something odd from the data they just collected from the previous experiments. They found out that a protein gene with just a tiny molecule is just behaving in a way it should not. At first, his heart was racing. Could this be what we are looking for? Is this the key to stopping cancer? And he decided to go to the lab. And break his track record.
So the whole idea was just simple. They thought, what if this molecule could be or teach us about our immune system to spot those cancer cells like the way they thought they could. There would be no more radiation burning or any kind of radiation. There would be no more radiation burning or any kind of radiation burning. bone in all 40 tissues in our body. Just our own body that is strong, healthy and trained to fight well.
The team decided to run that test. They started the experiment or the test using a mice first. They may be after that they might try humans. But each step brings hope and it feels like a lifeline.
So now imagine the day they are to break the news that the cure for cancer has been found. There will be flashes across worldwide. Families will cry tears of joy. Strangers will hug. Hospitals will feel hopeful. They already thought they have lost their loved ones. We will be happy back again.
At this moment it is not perfect yet. There are still hurdles. There are still costs and many have not yet accessed the cure to it. But it is a start and we are happy that something good has come up. People like my aunt who couldn't survive a breast cancer. Would have been given the hope to survive and expand the future without fear.
Of course this is not about the science but, it is about people and patients. Like doctors and researchers. Who have done their best to keep pushing and pushing to make living. Comfortable for everyone. So that cure of cancer wouldn't just be a win in the medical field. at large a reminder that the biggest battle is always one when giving up is never an option.
