Hey there splinterbuds and HIVE-bees! Thursday's up in here and the June month is almost depleted! Time sure really flies so fast. I hope you are having a good time in your life this time fellas and still being positive about it. For this Social Media Challenge in Splinterlands, I am going to tell the story about the legend of some Promo cards. lol. i am currently playing in the modern ranked so I think its a good idea to share what I am currently experiencing in battles to the said rank pattern.

The Promo Card Arcane Skinwalker

Have you ever stepped in the modern battle league of splinterlands? I wonder what was your experience. As for me, I started this season with trying my splinterlands knowledge and experience on the line to play the modern league. Since i am away from the modern rank for quiet awhile, I am a bit off the gameplay and need to gain experience and knowledge again for the Conclave Arcana's series really put a new game style in the game. Archons and Bloodlines were part of the new things to me plus the added skills and abilities on the summoner and the monster Units. Its a good way to make my self busy again and gain interest to the splinterlands gameplay again. There are also good promo cards that where added to this game and the Arcane Skinwalker is one of those cards.

A neutral Promo Card that is a Rare in rarity. Since it is neutral splinter, it can be used on any other splinters as long it is not restricted. The abilities that it posses is really usable for itself and it even debuff's enemies magic damages and boost monster friendly unit melee attackers. One thing i notice with this card is its high magic attacking power. It doesn't have any healing or life leeching ability but that camouflage ability can keep this card in the battle field longer and make some punishment to the enemy's team. Again, this card is really dangerous to the field which is i became so fond of it that i always considering it to be part of my team that i will send to the battle field.. oops that is a secret, please refrain from knowing that. lol. Anyways, Let us see a battle sample for this card.

An Example Battle Using The Arcane Skinwalker

So as you can see, i am currently trying my luck in the champions league of the modern series. With the type of battles that i am encountering, you should take note that card levels will be critical to the fights. So if you are going to move your rank here in this league, consider owning maxed level cards or renting them for as you know, its hard to grab some wins if your cards are a bit low level and you posses a bit little of varieties. Well, if you can have the hang of it you might form techniques on your own if you keep on playing. Experience really counts in splinterlands. Anyways lets get back to the battle sample.
I am playing this fight with a dual summoner Lorkus that can summon both Fire and Death splinters. Considering that we are featuring Arcane Skinwalker in this blog, I also chose Lorkus for it adds magical damage to every monster units and I am choosing the Life Leech and Affliction combination from the summoners another ability combination. The rulesets to be considered are Armored Up and Briar Patch which are a bit unfavored to the melee and range damage dealers. With those things in mind, I am going to choose a team that will not be affected by the rulesets restriction as much as possible. Also, I am going to form a barrier to the Magic damage dealers for this attackers are the one going to be the team will be form by my opponent as i see it. Oridum Graybrow was chosen to be my tank for it has the Magic Reflect ability. And it can revive. Arcane Skinwalker was chosen of course as part of my offensive team with Silverleaf Warlock, Arachne Weaver, Kelan Gains and Kha'zi Conjurer. So to avoid being thorn damage my team, i am avoiding using melee attackers as much as possible. I am going against the dragon Splinters with the summoner Nidhoggr. Let us see how it goes.

For the first round, Its really is a fight of the mages with the limited amount of other attackers. I have the edge here for I posses much more damage and maxed level cards that can dominate the field. Also, this round already have a high heated battle for just this round some cards already lost the ability to fight. I also even have my Graybrow lost its resurrect ability.

Round two is where it ends. Too fast? well that's the kind of battles that i am experiencing in this modern rank battle nowadays. That is a good sign to be honest for the time that you are waiting for matching up is longer than expected. The last blow was delivered by Arcane Skinwalker by the way. That 4 magic damage is really not that bad.

• My experience of Arcane Skinwalker as i played it, overall is positive. It really compliments most of the summoners (that i Rented) in every battle i fought. You really should put this card to your team.
