Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Life Splinters in Frontier Rank Battles
Greetings HIVE-bees and SplinterBuddies! Its been a while since I wrote a blog on HIVE. I hope all is well to you guys! I just paused writing something and played splinterlands Frontier format with the past days. Played few accounts and gathered some cards in the process.
Although I am not so fond with Life Splinters in the Frontier Rank battles, It just so happen that I almost gather the cards of this splinter. And I am telling you that these cards play differently on higher level. Although water splinter dominates mostly with their magic attacks, life splinters also had their edge on battles.
How about you guys? How is the splinterlands journey so far?
A Battle from Gold Rank in Frontier
If ever you had experienced or currently battling your hearth's out in Frontier Battle ranks in Splinterlands, you probably noticed that major of the players prefer to use Water, Death and Earth Splinters Majorly and the Fire and Life Splinters below the ranking in my opinion. Well, Water splinters are really casting high win rates in this format with almost no rules that can limit the splinters potential so even me is a major water splinter user in that regard. If the Water splinters is not restricted in the selection, then Water splinter it is is the plan. But anyways, I am highlighting Life splinters here to show what might be the good combinations for this splinters sending them off on the battle field. Take note that there are no level limits when battling in splinterlands anymore so even what league you are playing, you are going to be matched with either level 1 card owners or maxed level card owners as you proceed your battles.
This battle is under Dragon's Feast wherein Dragons Breath is in effect that cause a burning effects coming from units that has range and magic attacks. With Fog at War also included in the Rulesets, i still chose to fight this battle with Life Splinters as my team. With the water splinters are out of the picture, I am confident with mostly maxed cards that i owned in Life splinters can have me a closer step getting a win in this battle. Well, for me, even though an additional shield to monster units is a bit low quality of boost of the Life Splinter archons compared to additional Life boost of my opponents archon, i still believed that i can grab the victory with this round since i am using maxed sets of cards. I got the edge! I believed. Hopefully! Go Life Splinters. Well i really hope i can win this battle, you see, sometimes there is also doubt, but let us see if i really can overcome that tank that got heal in my opponents team. Twice Yester Knight is standing in the front of my team followed by Paprikash then Great Bear Druid. Celestal Guardian and A'lan Musketeer behind with decent amount of Magic and Range damage respectively. Although my opponents are a bit low on levels, the abilities and life stats of Earth splinters are tanky. Let's see where it goes.
With the burning effect of Dragon's Breath being activated at 33% chance, this ruleset is really going to make a difference in the battlefield. If it activated, an additional damage will be received by the monster unit that was affected which might be the cause of the collapse of your team. In this round, My opponents Tank got a heal that helped this monster unit to be much more helpful in the battlefield. Gladly, my teams HP and damage are sufficient enough to withstand the fight. I grab the win with this battle using Life Splinters.
