Greetings HIVE-bees and splinterbuds! Its weekend again and a great time to rest and relax a bit for time being. How do you spend your free time? If you have any of course. :D. Nowadays, time is really some kind of leisure to other busy people. Even whole day is not enough sometimes to do what you have to. Well its Splinterlands Social Media Challenge time so i am giving my time for this blog and i will chit chat about Double Strike ability.

Double Strike

"Attacks twice each turn."

• The description says it all. Who doesn't want to attack again and again in battle. Its like your opponent persuaded you to hit it more than ones. Specially when Double Strike is boosted by the likes of trample ability that is perfect compliment for melee attackers. It will let your card to keep attacking opponent's cards. That is totally awesome! Right?

Battle Sample

Rulesets:

• The Rulesets contains Unprotected, Melee Mayhem and Born Again. In a 44 Mana battle that the splinters Water, Earth and Death are available. This can be considered Medium to High Mana battle in my opinion.

Abilities in its Level

• Playing this battle with Earth Splinters as my team Grund will be the sample for my featured blog Double Strike. Immortalis is being the summoner for my team although one of its skill boost is being used already in the ruleset the Unprotected, it is still a good summoner that can negate Magic damage dealers since those cards are really a great threat on their damage. Grund on first, Queen Mycelia and Goblin Psychic will provide heal support to my team. Mycelic Slipspawn is great card to reduce the pressure to my less health cards since Melee Mayhem is present in the ruleset. It will call out attackers to itself since it got taunt ability and a great amount of health. Adding the +1 health of my summoner, it is really a helpful boost. Regal Peryton and Doctor Blight will complete my team. These two cards are for sure deadly ones and i am guessing that you understand what i mean to those who played splinterlands for quite some time. Lets continue to the battle.

The Battle:

Battle between Earth splinters. Quora was utilized in this battle which also use a type of dual attack in the form of melee and magic. You can see that its berserk ability is another form of good quality of this card for it evolve its attacking powers in prolonged battles if it is triggered.

In round 1, the frontal cards of my opponent already suffered attacks that consumed their health and the reborn ability was already utilized. This is one of the reason that i concentrated magic power for my team because it is a little percent to miss and it will just bypass armor. This is my opinion fellas ok? we can explore and experience better combination and we can utilized it to our hearts content if it is a good one.

The Martyr ability in the opponent team was triggered 2x in this round and thus Quora was boosted two times also. But i have Goblin Psychic and it helps to neutralized some Quora Boosters from its Dispel Ability. While Grund is also performing its multi attacks, although missed sometimes, but still a great deal of damage to the opponent's team.

This round should be the endpoint of the battle. The trample ability of grund is triggered and it performed 3x attacks. It is really a good thing that cards posses this kind of ability that can put your team to higher winning rate. This battle is my win.

• In battling in splinterlands, it is really necessary to make a good combination of not just the cards or their attacks, but also a good choice of skills and match them to rulesets. In my example of double strike skill that is used by melee attacker, another skill is a booster to that which is the trample. So basically you needed to match skills with attacks or defense for making a higher chance of winning possibilities.
