Hello there HIVE-bees and Splinter-buddies! Few days more and your adding age again. lol. New year is approaching and hopefully we still got a good one everyone! Another Weekly challenge arrived for our beloved game Splinterlands and we are going to see if I can help you out on how to become much poorer despite staying in the game for about 4 years or so. Ooh sorry! I should say, Still afford to play splinterlands up to now despite changes and updates to the game. Loving the game is one thing but let's be real, you can never live with just love alone in real life so it is also apply here in splinterlands. You can access the game free to play, Yes?, But what is next? Just lurking around and just knowing the game and keep your self in the bronze league and having fun is good to you, well if you are happy with that then proceed. Its not that I am against it, but the thing is, you are missing the crucial part of the gameplay. The possibility to earn. The knowledge that is not just limited to playing but more. Splinterlands is a game that will reward you tokens that can be converted to real cash. You can own NFT's in their reward system, although its lock now adays but you might be granted with Gold Foil's and can be put on sale directly on the market. Well, Let me share of how did I keep playing the game even though it looks like expensive to start for the new bloods.

Own a Spellbook

See those spellbook perks nowadays? I am feeling envy just seeing those 3500 credits.. + chaos legion packs? come on! i never had this freebies when i was starting! ohh, why am i ranting? So you see, You will have a good start with those resources alone. If I am going to place my self on your shoes, I will exchange those Chaos packs to DEC in Hive Engine or Tribaldex then buy a Conclave summoner then play modern rank. And Also, do not forget the frontier rank for that you can have your good sets of free cards usable for any ranks. If you are starting, You should avoid those pay to play features like Wild rank where you pay 2000 DEC in every season. Better to accumulate a good deck first battling in the modern and frontier rank.

Use the HIVE Blogging Features and the Possibility to Earn HIVE Tokens

One way to hasten your card collection is to use HIVE as a social platform and write blogs regarding splinterlands when you join its community there on hive. There are instructions so you won't loose your way blogging and have the possible gains of HIVE tokens. HIVE tokens can be converted to DEC and SPS which will be usable in your game play in splinterlands. This will be another way to accumulate competitive card sets or you are going to start your SPS staking to gain more rewards on rank battle wins.

Cards and Other Items for Buy and Sell

So another way to earn is by profiteering! Just kidding. If you know how to use market wisely, you can take advantage of it and it will help you grow your assets. Just do it reasonably. Please. I am also collecting cards for my own use although not that aggressively because of other game features priority so can you list your cards in a fair price? :).. So this is another way that can you help your assets grow. Just make sure you pay attention on the market prices so that you can see to it that you buy cards that can be easily sold later for a fair profit. You can also sell other items like Potions, Titles, Land etc. if you are prioritizing a strong deck for your Rank Battle use.

• What I stated here are just few ways that you can play the game. This only for the players that do not have or got a few budget to play the game. For those who got money, you don't have to read this blog and buy whatever you need because you have the capital right? lol. You don't have to walk the the path doing arduous things. Just invest and play! :) And to those who got pleab levels of capital, well I hope I did share some knowledge to you guys if ever you red this thing. And what you should possess doing these tasks?
