Hey there HIVE-bees and Splinterfellas! Community Challenge time for our beloved game splinterlands! So?! How did you end up with your weekends? Hopefully cool and fun! Although summer heat is cooking the beat, we should still be happy about it! Ok for this challenge, we are going to tackle SYNERGY. Hmm.. It is a hard word for me. But let us describe it in a game point of view. So synergy in splinterlands can be be describe, in my opinion, the team or your team compatibility that can win you a battle. Your Deck composition, Summoner skill boost and monsters ability that can give a chance to make a combo or higher rate of survivability in the battle field that can get you a win. So this is what synergy for me for splinterlands of course since it is a game that let you place your card on a battlefield with some ruleset that will also be another thing to consider in your battle and part of synergy. I am going to make an example with this one thru battle of course. :)

Battle Sample

Rulesets:

• This type of Ruleset for me is an Earth splinters domination. A medium mana battle that will let you play the battle as it is. No need to consider the ruleset in a simple way to say it. So i am going to play this one with Earth splinters.

The Battle

Choosing the Earth splinters with Immortalis as the summoner. I chose my summoner based on its defensive characteristics for Magic Attackers. It also subtract health to my opponents team which is a good thing for my team. Since it is just a Medium Mana Battle, i am choosing Hill Giant for my first position for it has a large amount of life and a good damage to boot. For my support which is i need a heal to the tank and also to the back of my team that is why i am choosing Spirit Hoarder and Goblin Psychic to my team. Both cards posses healing abilities that is necessary support for the cards that are placed to defend the attacks from front and back of your team to be healed. Also, there are necessary abilities like Dispel to remove boost to your opponents team. Dr. Blight and Regal Peryton are also part of my team to strengthen my team's offensive capabilities. The speed of Regal peryton for sure will claim the earliest possible attack that i believed can be a good edge for claiming the victory. Dr. Blights too many to mention abilities are good feature of offensive abilities and it is like a zombie that regenerates its life from the dead and can even evade back attacks. A strong card. Here is one of my critical card player in this sample, Mycelic Slipspawn. The Taunt ability is really helpful to prevent the attacks to removed small health cards that you placed in the field. It also got Forcefield ability that can nullify 5 damage or more to become 1 which is a great ability for the killer cards to defend. Let's proceed to how the battle transpired.

Round 1 of the battle, i am playing this battle opposing also earth team that uses Obsidian as the summoner, is where the Mycelic Slipspawn of the opponent have fallen. It did not withstand the attacks of my team so it losses all of its life. And that happens because it has Taunt ability. You see, if the card posses taunt ability, it should posses a great amount of stats and abilities to survive in the field. I also used the Mycelic Slipspawn on my team but i boosted it on different type of abilities that can withstand specially magic attacks.

Round 2, Its undeniable that my team is already on the verge of victory for the attacks and defense with support is playing their roles that it should be. The front of my team is remain strong for the reason that it is being supported by the taunt of Mycelic Slipspawn which is supported by the heal coming from Spirit Hoarder.

Round 3 is where the battle ends.

• So how you synergized your team plays? Its without a doubt by gaining experienced and familiarization of cards before you send your team in the battlefield. Getting aware of what are the required of the rulesets, your available cards, and how will you position them are other necessary tactics to put your team on the road of victory.
