WHAT AM THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR

Being alive today alone is a very big reason to be thankful for. A Lot of things I'm thankful for, especially the life of my family, friends, loves and many events that took place. One thing I'm grateful for is getting a new phone.
Early this year, it happened that at my workplace my colleague whom we work together in the same department plans with his friends to steal my phone at night.

    How it happened 

In my workplace, there are different rooms for staffs who are working in the organisation
So it's happen one night I decided to plug my phone in the second room because in my room the electric sockets are having issue, there are not working properly and my bulb was not working too, the entire wires of the room were faulty, so I decided to plug my phone by an open room close to mine. Some minutes later after I plugged in the phone, I was pressed and so I needed to use the restroom. After using the restroom, I went back to the room but on getting to the room, I found out that my phone wasn't there. I checked everywhere but I couldn't find it. Immediately, I shouted his name and asked him if he had seen my phone and he told me he didn't see anything and didn't even know I plugged in my phone. The next day I told my boss about it and she did nothing. I was in pain because I had a lot of important contacts and documents in my phone but I had no choice because I didn't cut him red handedly.

Some time passed and I started noticing he was stealing from my boss and so I decided to plan on how to expose him. One fateful night, i told him i was going home to pick up something, i pretended to go home unknown to him i went and hid myself somewhere close by so that I could observe his movement. Some minutes later he called his friend to come over so he could steal and give to his friend and look as if there was nothing that happened unknown to him. I saw all that he was doing, so I came back and immediately he saw me. He was frightened and started explaining himself to me but I was already angry. So this was how you stole my phone. He said no and denied that he didn't steal my phone. Immediately i call my boss and told him what happened, the next day my boss came to work and we were all taken to the station for questioning and i testified and was ask to come home which i did, he was dealt with and interrogated which he later confessed that he actually stole and my and other stuffs that have been missing, and was charged to pay the sum of five hundred thousand naira to cover up all the things he has been stealing even before I started working in the organisation. I was happy to expose him but at the same time sad. I kind of feel guilty though for him when paying and also my boss did nothing about my phone that was stolen but I left everything to God. Three months later with the money I was able to save, God bless me with a new phone.

In everything that was happening early this year I thank God for exposing my colleague who has been stealing from the organisation and also for giving me a new phone. Thank you for stopping by to read...
