Hive Reachout weekly prompt 45//My Unforgettable Event (Excursion)

One of the unforgettable event that I have experienced in my life was an excursion we went to in Jos, Plateau State Nigeria. That was best experience I've had so far. I had so much fun and enjoyed myself.

When I was in highschool on a Friday morning at the assembly ground. The school passed an information to us that my class will be going for an excursion to Jos and that we should get prepared with our fees for the excursion. After hearing the news of the excursion, the entire class were excited because for some of us, that was the first time we will experience leaving our home for an excursion. We imagined how fun it will be and so we quickly rushed and pay the fee. It took over three weeks for the registration to be completed.

The news for the excursion was the top in class. Everyone was talking about it. Two days after the registration was completed, we were asked to prepare for the next day which was the D day. I wasn't able to sleep that day just excitement and thoughts of how the excursion will be.

    EXCURSION DAY

I prepared and came to school. On reaching the school premises, we saw a bus already waiting for us. We entered and start our journey. On reaching the first place we went to was "Grand cereal” where they took us to different chambars. The first chamber was where they produce oil from soyabeans and then the second chamber was where the produce feeds and then lastly was where the produce fertilizer. When we were done with exploring the Grand Cereal, we moved to our next stop which was the airport.

We left the cereal and arrived at the airport. It was my first time being to an airport. The place was so beautiful, I was able to see how an airplane takes off and also how it lands. We are privileged to enter into one of the planes though it didn't take off from there. We just had the privilege of enjoying the interior of the plane. We left from the airport to Hayfield resort.

  Hayfield Resort 

Hayfield resort is a very popular tourist in Jos. They have beautiful places for comfortable and also lake. We were showed the lake and speed boat. I was so happy. It's my first time seeing a speed boat and we had the privilege to drove in it with the help a an instructor. After exploring Hayfield resort we went to the final place whice was the wildlife park.

   THE WILDLIFE PARK.

We arrived at Jesse Aruku wildlife park and we were showed around the park which is very beautiful. I had the opportunity to see some wild animals like lions, monkeys, elephants, hyenas and chimpanzees. Also we were showed the museum where i saw so many cultural histories about Nigeria. After walking round the part, we took a break to eat and rest. Because it was already getting dark, we needed to start our journey back home. Everyone was so happy and discussing how fun the experience was, seeing the beautiful wildlife park and experience how oil is being made from soya beans and the view of airplane taking off and landing, the lake and speed boat.

It was indeed an unforgettable memorable experience and I really my self.
