Three Tune Tuesday・Stress
Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today let's go into another Three Tune Tuesday post.

As always, thanks to @ablaze for making this series. Lots of people participate in it! Follow the tags to find a ton of good music recommendation.
This year has been pretty busy so far for me. I'm not complaining—more work means more money when you are in the business I am—but it is stressful at times. Usually I deal with stress with my daily meditation practice, but besides that like many of us I turn to humor to release a little of the stress.
And there is the perfect topic for today's selection of songs. Let's look at some songs that deal with this pressing issue!

Jim's Big Ego - Stress
Let's lead off with this one. What's the best way to deal with stress? Embrace it!
Monty Python - I'm So Worried
Released in 1980 on their final album Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album, the song is great. With brilliant lyrics by Terry Jones and sung by him to boot, this gives a nice list of all the pointless things we worry about that cause us stress. 44 years later it is still completely accurate.
Here is an alternative country music version of it that was discovered and released 40 years after the original. It may be even better than the original (which you can listen to here)
Timbuk 3 - The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades
Ultimately, one of the best ways to deal with stress may just be to run with some dark humor. This song has an upbeat sound and was very popular when released as a positive feel-good song, but if you actually listen to the lyrics, it is the singer, Pat MacDonald, putting a nice face on what he sees as a terrifying future (a nuclear holocaust). He later confirmed this meaning to VH1, and they pointed out an anti-Reagan line and some war related ones.
Ah, black humor, what would we do without you?

So what's your favorite?

My favourite is definitely I'm so worried. Often we spend too much time worrying about pointless things by that we have no control over. Where we can make a difference to things, even very minute, then we should give ourselves a good pat on the back instead of fretting and stressing needless over it
Well said!
!PIMP
You must be killin' it out here!

I was in another record store the other day that had a pretty decent jazz section, but I couldn't find the list you had given me of the people to look out for. I thought sure it was in my Google Keep, but I just couldn't find it.
Ahh too bad. I'll get you a simple list of names here later today and send it to you on discord.
Awesome, thanks!
Keep up the good work. 👏🎵
