Hello all! Another week has come and gone and it's time again to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. Can you believe we're into July already?? This year is just breezing by.

If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too. I also want to give a brief preview of some of the posts I have coming this week, at least the ones I've already written and scheduled.

Let's start with my Hive goals.

Hive Power

My current goal is 25k Hive, just as the title to this post says. This past week I made 157.520, bringing me to 16,278.73 total Hive Power. That's 65.1% of my goal!

So at the 6 month mark, how are we doing? Well, on the first of this year I powered-up 2000 HP, putting me at 10,523.29. Taking that away from my current total gives us 5755.44. I guess roughly 1000 a month isn't too bad for six months. Still... I have 8721.27 to go, meaning if I want to hit 25k by the first of next year, I need to outperform these past six months. That's roughly 47.9 Hive per day needed, which is a little under twice what I earn per post on average. Hmmmm.... I'll keep trying!! But if any of you whales want to help out, feel free to upvote me 😃

Now other than Hive Power, I just want to look at two tokens. First....

Pimp

My goal with PIMP is all the PIMP. I was actively buying it to get to 50k, but since that point I've just been content to passively let it trickle in.

I made 277.241 PIMP last week, putting me at 53,303.966. That's #12 on the rich list. Or #11, if we ignore the guy in the first place spot who has so much none of us are ever going to catch him.

Additionally, pimp has been paying me a dividend of 0.139 Hive every day, so that's nearly one Hive total for the past 7 days. Not a ton, sure, but just another passive stream coming in from holding this coin.

If I wasn't changing Hive Power so much, I'd buy more PIMP, because this is a great coin. I recommend it to everyone. It's one of the very few Hive Engine tokens that has continuously gone up in this bear market. That's not something to be ignored.

Daily Dab

This is the new token (tokens) from @raymondspeaks and @silverstackeruk. If you've been paying attention, I've been urging you all you buy during the presale. Well, that presale is over now. The Dbond tokens have been sent out and have been paying Dab tokens for the past few days. Now the next phase started and those Dab tokens are paying Hive. In another week staking for Dab tokens will be turned on, so I will then have a choice... leave them liquid to keep receiving payouts in Hive, or stake then to receive payments in Dbonds which I can then stake to get more Dabs.

It's all going well so far! If you missed the presale but are interested, you can find some people on Hive-Engine trying to sell them. Or wait another three weeks and the regular sale of them will start (on the 23rd).

Tuesday I have my Three Tunes Tuesday post. These are when I pick out three songs I really enjoy and share some history behind them as well as why they are meaningful to me. I'll be looking at some Japanese jazz this week. I love jazz, and this week I'll be focusing on it.

Wednesday I have my coin post for my silver stacker buddies. This week we'll be covering this guy:

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I spotted it in the local coin shop and just had to buy. In my coin post I'll also be talking about carry coins and something I mentioned in the SSG discord the other day. Also last week I picked up these guys:

A few more silver ¥100 coins and a standing liberty quarter, which might be of interest to the group. I don't know what the e95 written on it means. I certainly wasn't charged 95 euros for it.

Thursday I have a haiku post. We'll be going with one of my own this week instead of a translation from an older Japanese poem.

Friday I have You Should Laugh Today, where I share a few funny things that I hope will throw you into fits of laughter. This week I am looking into one of the best reoccurring SNL skits of all time. Curious? Then be sure to watch for this post!

Saturday and Sunday... Well, I haven't gotten that far yet. I have a few drafts going, so I can't say for sure what will bubble up on these days. Knowing me, it might be Zen Buddhist related, something about Japanese culture, or something about history, or another haiku. Maybe we should do a contest for what topic I go with! Hmmm..

Well, that's the plan anyway. I may reschedule some if something comes up, who knows.
