Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I made 193.05, bringing me to 46743.35 total Hive Power. That’s 77.9% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 46743.35 gives us 13256.65. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 48 Hive exactly needed per day to reach 60k by that point.

As expected, that number needed per day is back up. Last week it it was 47.5. Just to be clear, that means 332.5 per week, and as you can see above I only made 193.05 this week, and around there is the norm. Ho hum. Guess that means I need to buy more HIVE!

Second Layer Tokens

Not much action here this past week. Just watching things, but still nothing crying out for me to set a goal for buying into it.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Silver has another great week! Wow, almost 35 bucks. Could we break $40 before summer?

I was browsing the sale coins and this one immediately caught my eye:

I like the miminal design, especially of side 2. The Rumble in the Jungle for those of you who don’t know was a very famous boxing match (some call it the most famous boxing match) between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman held in the Congo. Ali knocked out Foreman in the 8th, famously wearing him out with his rope-a-dope technique of leaning on the ropes and letting Foreman use up his energy with low quality hits.
