Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I increased my stake by 415.54. With HIVE so low, I couldn’t resist trading in some HBD, so that boosted by numbers. All together, it brings me to 59311.98 total Hive Power. That’s 98.9% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 59311.98 gives us 688.02. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 7.3 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point. It’s now pretty much a given I will make 60k. I don’t necessarily want to say “mission accomplished”… As an American, I am only too aware of how that can bite you in the backside.

But it is looking very likely. SO the more interesting number becomes my stretch goal of 70k. And that… is more out of reach than ever. As of today, I’d have to get 113.7 per day to reach 70k by Dec 31. That’s kind of laughably out of reach, but we’ll see how close I can get anyway.

Second Layer Tokens

I continue to mostly ignore H-E stuff this year. As a result I have no idea what this SURGE is that everyone’s posting about. Did I miss something worthwhile, or is this just the latest hype coin that will do nothing?

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Silver just had an amazing weel last week, blazing past $46. See my post yesterday for some words about this. But otherwise, let’s see if it keeps going.

Here is a good looking bar that I came across today:

Well… Darth’s head looks a little off model. And that storm tropper behind him looks a little too tall. Oh well. Flaws aside, Star Wars silver is always worth picking up!
