My Hive Goals for 29 December 2025

Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My goal for this year was 60k Hive, and I blew past it. Now on to my stretch goal of 70k.

Last week I made 517.27, bringing me to 63261.68 total Hive Power. That’s 90.4% of my goal!

Math time. 70k - 63261.68 gives us 6738.32. All in all, not bad. And only around $650 at current prices. Unfortunately I don’t have an extra $650 just laying around.

Anyway, divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 2246.1 Hive needed per day to reach 70k by that point. I still have 3 days, including today! We’ll see if any mircules come my way.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

It popped up above $80 there to $83, but pulled back. I think this is probably more of a temp pullback as the bears momentarily let fear get to them. This week it will pop back up, I’m sure.

At these prices, I might have to start buying less than an ounce coins. Like this 1/2 oz coin:

I have a pair of these half oz. Eagle somewhere in my stack. They were considerably overpriced at the time of issue but they were meant for the US Market, not the Canadian one as I heard.
I finally made 30k HP this week, and by the end of the year, Woo Hoo!

I think it's just a tag that some people use for these goals posts, but no real community behind it.

Awesome job! 63K is impressive unto itself! There's always next year and at the rate you're going you'll make it to 70K in a few months. I know the feeling of not having $600 laying around to buy extra crypto, it's been tight financially the last few months. Maybe this next year will treat us better!

Getting that close to 70k and running out of time is rough but hey at least you smashed through your first target, as the end of the year gets closer I have been thinking about my journey on Hive and setting goals for myself too, sometimes the stretch goals are more about keeping yourself motivated than actually hitting them perfectly. The giveaway stuff is cool, keeps people engaged and coming back to check on your progress instead of just reading and bouncing, I have thought about that too but perhaps want to get consistant all alog 2026 Q1 and proof to myself that I can be consistant, giveaways done the right way builds up a little community vibe without making it feel forced, aside from generating Hive I want to have fun again about writing and sharing with others rather than just focus on rewards and price, thx for sharing

Yeah, that is kind of why I do it. The sbi is to keep being interested and spread joy a bit, and also a thank you for anyone who does take the time to read my rambling about goals.
