Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I liquidated some of my H-E tokens and moved the money to Hive; combined with the weekly total from posting I increased by 435.61, bringing me to 58854.53 total Hive Power. That’s 98.1% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 58854.53 gives us 1145.47. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 11.3 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point. Going well!

Unfortunately my 70k stretch goal is still a bit outside my reach, at 114 needed per day. Geez… even if every week were as strong as this one, I’d still not make that one.

Second Layer Tokens

Like I said — sold some and closed some positions. I’m kind of both consoldating my H-E holdings and also moving some money out. I still see a handful of strong tokens here (LGN, BRO, PIMP, among others) but I just think I have a bit too much in this otherwise very fragile area.

…of course moving that money to the main chain instead of moving in off chain may not exactly be the smartest move…

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

THat nice rally at the end helped it close just a little above week open. The march to $50 continues!

Here is a good looking coin that I came across today:

Now that’s a nice looking coin! I really should be all over these zodiac coins for next year given that I was born in the year of the horse. I’m a little amazed that my year has come around once again — despite that, I should definitely at least pick up this one!

Then again… it’s $140 for 1 oz. Quite a bit of a mark-up there.
