Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I made 209.814 and bought 150, giving me a total of 359.814, bringing me to 49491.994 total Hive Power. That’s 82.5% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 49491.994 gives us 10508.006. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 46.3 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.

Incredibly, that amount needed per day actually went down! Last week it was 46.4. It only took me buying almost as much as I made. No problem, right?

Second Layer Tokens

I still haven’t found much to focus on here. We are in Q2 so I don’t know… will I find anything before the middle of the year? XV is ending its run this week, so that will pay me a few hundred HIVE. I’m unsure if I will use the money to power-up my account (very likely), if I will put it in some stable coin (like HBD) or if I will stick it right back into another 2nd layer token. @silverstackeruk has mentioned he’s playing around with the idea of doing something like a crypto index fund after XV has finished, so maybe I’ll just hold the payout money until we get more word on that.

Anyway… We shall see!

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Not much difference between the start and the finish, so kind of a meh week. Let’s hope this one is better!

So I clicked on sale coins as I always do to look for anything interesting or new and guess what jumped out at me:

Kind of funny that this is right there, given the post I put up a day or two ago on the history of the $100 banknote. This is pretty good looking! Get it here.
