Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #SlothlySavers, which is a fun little group run by @slothbuzz that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals.

I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment HSBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 80k Hive.

Last week I made 700.192, bringing me to 64573.862 total Hive Power. That’s 80.7% of my goal!

Wait…700? That can’t be right…

Ah yeah, that makes more sense. 300 of it came from me powering up some converted HBD.

Anyway, Math time. 80k - 64573.862 gives us 15426.138. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 44.5 Hive needed per day to reach 80k by that point.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Wow. It’ll be $100 soon!

Well, with silver so high, most 1oz coins and rounds are above $100! That’s both amazing and wonderful, but also terrible because buying coins is now not as easy.

SO…maybe we should step down to 1/10oz rounds?

One of the best designs of all time, the Mercury dime, in a 1/10 oz round. That puts the price as a much mroe reasonable $14. You’re paying a bit of a premium to buy so little silver, but it is much easier to spend $14 than $100. Get it here.
