Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My goal for this year was 60k Hive. And I’ve made it! Now on to my stretch goal of 70k.

Last week I made 374.71, bringing me to 61446.5 total Hive Power. That’s 87.8% of my stretch goal!

Math time. 70k - 61446.5 gives us 8553.5. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 190.1 Hive needed per day to reach 70k by that point. That’s almost laughableI barely make a quarter of that daily. Oh well. We will see what we see. Maybe I can at least make 65k…

Second Layer Tokens

I’m still just not feeling it with any H-E token. I’m hoping on to a few, but nothing new has attracted my eye for a long time.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Past $50 again! But it did start to fall again towards the end of the week. Let’s see if that trend continues of if it can stay above $50.

Here is a good looking bar that I came across today:

That’s pretty cool, isn’t it? The phrase 狗年興旺 is very Chinese, meaning “Prosperity in the Year of the Dog” or something to that effect. I know it’s Chinese because you’d never see this phrase in Japan. Here people would probably lean towards something like 戌年吉祥 for the same meaning.
