Birth of Skynet and Other Laughs
Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today I thought we'd do another You Should Laugh More post. Last night or this morning, depending on what time zone you are in, we had a bit of Hive drama. Nothing too explosive, but a bit of a discussion/debate/argument over the acceptability of HSBI. Whew... it was actually a fairly productive discussion, but drama is drama, and I'm feeling like we all need some laughter after that.
SO...
Research has shown that laughter is good for us. It has all kinds of health benefits. Despite most of us knowing this, none of us laugh enough. Yeah, I know, being an adult is tough, and furthermore there is a lot of grim stuff happening in the world. These things may be true, but that just is all the more reason for trying to get a little laughter into our lives.
Is that in the manual?
Trust us, we're experts.

That one with planes drives me crazy because it is so true. All they do is herd cattle these days. I was watching the movie Commando the other day and there was a bit on the plane where they told everyone they had to put out their cigarettes. So they decided that's bad but cramming everyone together for outrageous prices isn't?
I can imagine it will get worse in the pursuit of profits.

My favourite one was the plane. I even remember a time when you could smoke on them. Gosh I'm young lol

That spongebob one is oh so true. I went to college for construction management and while it was somewhat helpful, a vast majority of what I was taught was simply to pass the class and then you would never, ever, use it again. I do enjoy advances mathematics because it is pretty damn cool being able to understand complicated stuff like that, but yeah, life is basically one big spreadsheet once you enter the professional world.
