Hello to all my Hive friends... 🐱

At my daughter's request, I have made some Pokémon. Today she asked me for another one, which can be made in many different ways, each one representing a letter of the alphabet. I made the first one on the list, a Pokémon called Unown, which represents the letter A, as a decorative figure using the quilling technique.

Soon, I may make some others in this style, representing other letters.

Por petición de mi hija he realizado algunos Pokémon, para hoy me pidió otro el cual tiene mucha maneras de realizarlo y cada uno de ellos demarca una letra del alfabeto, pues lleve a cabo el primero en la lista de este Pokémon que lleva por nombre Unown que será la letra A, como una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.

Próximamente quizás haga algunos otros de este este estilo, que pertenezca a alguna otra letra.

• I started by making the centerpiece using 3mm wide white quilling tape. With the quilling needle, I began to roll it up to form a small circle, sealed it with extra-strong white glue, then took black tape, stuck it to the circle I had already made, and continued rolling until I formed a small strip, which I sealed with glue. This will be the character's eye.

• We continued by gluing white tape, rolling it up to form a much thicker strip, and finally, we continued with black tape to form a thin strip. We sealed it with extra-strong white glue, removed it from the needle, and thus we had the centerpiece finished.

• Comencé realizando la pieza central tomando cinta para quilling de color blanca de 3mm de ancho, con la aguja para quilling comencé a enrollar hasta formar un pequeño círculo, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, luego tomé cinta negra pegué en el círculo que ya realicé y seguí enrollando hasta formar una pequeña franja sellé con pega, este será el ojo del personaje.

• Proseguimos pegando cinta blanca, seguimos enrollando y formamos una gran mucho más gruesa, y para terminar continuamos con cinta negra formando una franja delgada, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, sacamos de la aguja y de esta manera tenemos la pieza central terminada.

• Now take a 3mm wide black ribbon and use a needle to make a small closed circle. Shape it into a cone using the tip of a paintbrush or another pointed object. Apply glue to the inside to prevent it from moving or losing its shape.

• Stick the resulting piece to the top of the central piece.

• Ahora tomaremos cinta de color negra de 3mm de ancho, con ma aguja haremos un círculo cerrado no tan grande, este lo moldearemos con la punta de un pincel y otro objeto que tengamos puntiagudo, para formar un cono, aplicamos pegamento en su parte interna para evitar que se mueva o deforme.

• La pieza resultante la pegaremos en la parte de arriba de la pieza central.

• To make the lower part of this Pokémon's body, I took black tape, which I folded and glued to form a thick piece. I made two pieces of the same size and one slightly shorter.

• I molded the short piece into a semicircle, then proceeded to glue the three pieces to the lower part of the body, as you can see in the image.

• To finish and protect my figure, I applied several layers of extra-strong white glue, letting each layer dry before applying the next, to harden and laminate it.

This is how I finished this Unown Pokémon using the quilling technique.

• Para realizar la parte de abajo del cuerpo de este Pokémon, tomé cinta de color negra la cual fui doblando y pegando, para formar una pieza gruesa, realicé dos del mismo tamaño y una un poco más corta.

• La pieza corta la moldee en forma de una semi círculo, luego procedí a pegar las tres piezas de la parte de abajo del cuerpo tal y como pueden apreciar en la imagen.

• Para finalizar y proteger mi figura, apliqué varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar entre una capa y otra, esto para endurecer y plastificar.

De esta manera finalice este Pokémon Unown, en la técnica de quilling.
