Hello to my dear Hivers and the dear community of artists #HiveDIY, as always very pleased and excited to be here again, showing you my work made with love and especially for you.

I have mentioned in other opportunities that my daughter is a fan of video games, that is to say she is a born gamer, she constantly asks me to make symbols or characters of them, and sometimes I am the one who asks me to suggest something that she would like to have and that is in my hands to do.

This time she is playing a lot Residen Evil, and so she asked me to make her a pendant of Umbrella Corps, which alludes to this video game derived from this Japanese horror franchise.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Les he mencionado en otras oportunidades que mi hija es fanática de los videojuegos, es decir es una gamers nata, constantemente me pide que le haga símbolos o personajes de los mismos, y en algunas oportunidades soy yo la que me pido, que me sugiera algo que le gustaría tener y que esté en mis manos hacer.

En esta oportunidad esta jugando mucho Residen Evil, y por ello me pidió que le hiciera un colgante de Umbrella Corps, que hace alusión a este videojuego que deriva de esta franquicia de terror japonesa.

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

Comencemos:😃

• We start by taking 4mm wide red quilling tape, we will roll it with a needle until we reach the end of the tape, pull it out, loosen it a little and seal it with extra strong white glue, to obtain a semi-open circle. We will need 4 equal circles.
  
  
• Under the same parameters as above, we will make 4 open circles but this time with white ribbon 4mm wide.
  
  
• We will start shaping all the circles first in the shape of drops.
  
  
• Then with the help of a mandrel to mold circles, in the second measure from top to bottom we will press the bottom of the circle to give it a rounded shape inwards, that is to say we will form a triangle with the rounded bottom.

• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de color rojo de 4mm de ancho, vamos a enrollar con aguja hasta llegar al final de la cinta sacamos de la misma soltamos un poco y sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo semi abierto. Vamos a necesitar 4 círculos iguales.


• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores, realizaremos 4 círculos abiertos pero esta vez con cinta de color blanco de 4mm de ancho.


• Comenzaremos a moldear todos los círculos primero en forma de gotas.


• Luego con la ayuda de un mandril para moldear círculos, en la segunda medida de arriba hacia a bajo presionaremos la parte de abajo del circulo para darle una forma redondeada hacia adentro, es decir formaremos un triángulo con la parte de abajo redondeada.

• We are going to glue the triangles in a harmonic way, interspersing one of each color, red, white and so on.
  
  
• I applied several coats of extra strong white glue, letting it dry between one and another, to give strength and plasticity to the piece.
  
  
• I took some wooden beads which I painted red and white beforehand using cold paints, with a piece of thin black snakeskin I proceeded to make a pendant, interspersing the beads and making some simple knots to prevent them from coming off, then place their respective cover knots and jewelery ring and hook the pendant I made.
  
  

In this way I finished this pendant inspired by Umbrella Corps from Resident Evil, in the quilling technique.

• Vamos a pegar los triángulos de manera armónica intercalando uno de cada color, rojo, blanco y así sucesivamente.


• Apliqué varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte, dejando secar entre una y otra, para darle resistencia y plasticidad, a la pieza.


• Tomé algunas perlas de madera las cuales pinte con antelación de rojo y blanco utilizando pinturas al frio, con un trozo de piel de serpiente fino negro procedí a realizar un colgante, intercalando lás perlas y realizando unos nudos simples para evitar que se salgan las mismas, luego coloque su respectivo tapa nudos y argolla de bisutería y enganche del dije que realicé.

De esta manera finalice este colgante inspirado en Umbrella Corps de Resident Evil, en la técnica de técnica de quilling.
