Hello to my dear Hivers and the dear community of artists #Jewelry, as always very pleased and excited to be here again, showing you my work made with love and especially for you.


I have had some difficult days, with many projects in mind that I understand that we must have patience to achieve step by step what we propose, sometimes it gives us some despair, frustration and we feel a little hopelessness, because we want to achieve beautiful things as soon as possible, but I tried to calm down, breathe and focus on my work, thinking about what to do came to my mind the sun as a symbol of life, strength and hope, so I wanted to share with you a new creation that filled me with a little light and energy while I was making it, a Decorative Pendant inspired by the Sun, that giant star that fills us with light and illuminates us every day, made with the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

He tenido unos días un tanto difíciles, con muchos proyectos en mente que entiendo hay que tener paciencia para lograr paso a paso lo que nos proponemos, a veces nos da algo de desesperación, frustración y sentimos un poco de desesperanza, porque queremos lograr cosas bonitas lo antes posible, pero traté de calmarme respirar y centrarme en mi trabajo, pensando en qué hacer me vino a la mente el sol como símbolo de vida, fuerza y esperanza, por esto quise compartir con ustedes una nueva creación que me llenó de un poco luz y energía mientras la hacía, un Colgante Decorativo inspirado en el Sol, ese astro gigante que nos llena de luz y nos ilumina día a día, realizado con la técnica de quilling.

To make this work I previously cut some strips of white cardboard 4 mm wide, with a guillotine to cut paper.

• I took some of the strips that I had previously cut and painted them with gold metallic paint, I took some others and applied bronze metallic paint.
  
  
• To make the center piece I took 3 gold colored strips, I rolled them with the needle until I reached the end of the ribbons, took them out of the needle and sealed them with extra strong white glue, I wanted to form an open circle with a noticeable spiral in the center.

Para realizar este trabajo previamente corté algunas tiras de cartulina color blanco de 4 mm de ancho, con una guillotina para cortar papel.

• Tome algunas tiras de las que había cortado previamente y las pinte con pintura metalizada color oro, tomé algunas otras y le apliqué pintura metalizada de color bronce.


• Para elaborar la pieza central tomé 3 tiras de color oro, enrollé con la aguja hasta llegar al final de las cintas, saqué de la aguja solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, quise formar un círculo abierto con un espiral notorio en el centro.

• Now I proceeded with the tape that I had painted bronze color, to make 8 semi-open circles.

• Then with a template to mold triangles I took strips of gold color and rolled up the second measure from top to bottom, I made 8 equal triangles.

• Ahora procedí con cinta de la que había pintado color bronce, a elaborar 8 círculos semi abiertos.

• Luego con una plantilla para moldear triángulos tomé tiras de color oro y enrollé por la segunda medida de arriba para abajo, realicé 8 triángulos iguales.

• Ready all the pieces I proceeded to glue them in a harmonic way as you can see in the images, I started with the circles, then continue with the triangles.
  
  
• To decorate I placed some costume jewelry crystals, and incorporated their respective ring and finally I added a pendant decorated with some golden pearls.
  
  

This way this pendant inspired by the sun, in the quilling technique, is ready.

• Listas todas las piezas procedí a pegarlas de manera armónica tal y como pueden ver en las imágenes, comencé con los círculos, luego seguir con los triángulos.


• Para decorar coloqué algunos cristales de bisutería, y le incorpore su respectiva argolla y por último le añadí un colgante decorado con algunas perlas de color dorado.

De esta manera está listo este colgante inspirado en el sol, en la técnica de quilling.
