Fithe Bladestone Decorative Figure Quilling Technique [Eng-Esp]

Hello to all my Hive friends... 🐱

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I bring you a new work of art. I had previously worked on this card because its elements caught my attention. I made a shield in the form of a decorative pendant, and today I decided to make the weapon of war that the character “Fithe Bladestone” holds in his hands, which in this case is a kind of axe as a decorative 3D figure with appliqués made using the quilling and cardboard techniques.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, ya con anterioridad había trabajado está carta ya que me llamaron la atención los elementos de la misma, realicé un escudo en forma de colgante decorativo y para hoy decidí realizar el arma de guerra que tiene el personaje "Fithe Bladestone" en sus manos que en este caso es una especie de hacha como una figura decorativa en 3D con apliques realizados en la técnica de quilling y cartonaje.

• I started by taking a 3mm wide white quilling strip and rolling it up with the needle until I reached the end. I sealed it with extra-strong white glue and removed it from the needle to form a closed circle.

• I proceeded to shape it with the tip of a toothpick to give it a pointed shape, applying glue to the inside to prevent it from moving or deforming.

• Using the same parameters as before, I made another larger closed circle and shaped it in the same way to obtain a larger cone.

• Comencé tomando cinta para quilling de color blanco de 3mm de ancho, con ella procedí a enrollar con la aguja toda la tira hasta llegar al final de la misma, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte saqué de la aguja para obtener un círculo cerrado.

• Procedí a moldear con la punta de un palillo de altura para darle una forma puntiaguda, apliqué pega por su parte interna para evitar que el mismo se mueva o deforme.

• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores realicé otro círculo cerrado más grande y moldee de la misma forma para obtener un cono más grande.

• I took a tall stick and glued the cones to each end of it, then let it dry thoroughly.

• Once dry, I took some bronze metallic paint and applied several coats, then let it dry so I could continue working on the figure.

• Tomé un palillo de altura y pegué los conos uno de cada extremo del mismo, deje secar muy bien.

• Al estar seco tome pintura metálica color bronce y apliqué varias capas, deje secar para seguir trabajando la figura.

• To make the axe blade, I sketched it on a white sheet of paper with a pencil, then took a piece of gray cardstock and cut it out.

• Once the blade was ready, I added some details to it using pearl metallic paint.

• To finish, I applied extra-strong white glue to the blade and stuck the previous piece onto it.

• And that's how we finished this decorative 3D axe figure that I made, inspired by the character from the card “Fithe Bladestone”.

• Para realizar la hojilla del hacha, realicé un boceto en una hoja blanca con un lápiz, luego tomé un trozo de cartulina gris y recorte.

• Lista la hojilla, con pintura metálica color perlada realicé algunos detalles en la misma.

• Para finalizar apliqué pega blanca extra fuerte, en la hojilla y pegué la pieza anterior.

• De esta manera tenemos listo esta figura decorativa de un hacha en 3D que elabore, inspirado en el personaje de la carta "Fithe Bladestone".
