Hello to all my Hive friends... 🐱

The day of love and friendship is approaching, so I wanted to make something that you can make and use in many ways. You can use it as a medallion on a necklace, as a decorative pendant, to decorate a box, a bag, or whatever you want.

Here is a beautiful heart decorated with various quilling appliqués, which I made using the cartonage technique combined with the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Se acerca el día del amor y la amistad, por ello quise hacer un detalle que puedas realizar y utilizarlo de múltiples maneras, puedes usarlo como medallón en un collar, como un colgante decorativo, decorar una caja, una bolsa, en fin lo que desees.

Les dejo que esté bonito corazón decorado con diversos apliques en quilling, el cual realicé en la técnica de cartonaje combinando la técnica de quilling.

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

Comencemos:😃

• I started by taking a white sheet of paper and sketching a heart on it with a pencil.

• I took some black cardstock of the right size to cut out the heart and made several folds, adding extra-strong white glue to make a thick, sturdy base. Once the glue was completely dry, I cut out the heart using the sketch I had made earlier.

• Comencé tomando una hoja de papel blanca en la cual con un lápiz realicé un boceto del corazón.

• Tomé cartulina de color negro del tamaño adecuado para recortar el corazón e hice varios dobleces añadiendo pega blanca extra fuerte para hacer una base gruesa y resistente, una vez que estuvo bien seca la pega pero se di a recortar el corazón con el boceto que había realizado con anterioridad.

• To make the decoration, I started by taking dark red and medium red quilling paper and rolling it into small closed circles with the needle until I had enough.

• I also made some other small semi-open circles to make some hearts. I shaped the resulting circles into drops and glued them in groups of two to form my hearts, making them in different sizes.

• I then proceeded to further harden and protect the central base, which is the heart, by applying several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. I let it dry thoroughly before starting to glue on the decoration.

• Para realizar la decoración comencé tomando Quilling de color rojo oscuro y un rojo intermedio, real ese pequeño círculos cerrados enrollando con la aguja hasta tener una cantidad suficiente.

• Realice algunos otros círculos semiabiertos también de tamaño pequeño para realizar algunos corazones, los círculos resultantes los moldee en forma de gota y los pegué en grupos de dos para formar mis corazones, los hice de diversos tamaños.

• Ahora procedí para endurecer aún más y proteger la base central que es el corazón, aplicando varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar entre una capa y otra, deje secar muy bien para comenzar a pegar la decoración.

• To begin decorating, I took three red ribbons, placing the dark red one in the center, and joined them at the bottom with extra-strong white glue. Using a needle, I proceeded to make some spirals and began to glue them onto the heart.

• I continued to let my creativity run wild, gluing circles and hearts in various places.

Using bases such as these, in the shape of hearts, circles, triangles, diamonds, letters, and endless other shapes, and making quilling appliqués as you wish, you can create countless models decorated in different ways.

Soon I will be making different designs to share with all of you.

This is how I finished this beautiful heart decorated with quilling appliqués, ideal as a gift for the upcoming Valentine's Day, which I made using cardboard combined with the quilling technique.

• Para comenzar a decorar tomé tres cintas de color rojo colocando la roja oscura en el centro y las uni en la parte de abajo con pega blanca extra fuerte, con la aguja procedí a realizar unos espirales, comencé a pegar en el corazón.

• Continúe dejando volar mi creatividad y pegando los círculos y corazones en diversos sitios.

Utilizando bases como estas, en forma de corazón, de círculo, triángulos, rombos, letras y un sin fín de figuras, y realizando apliques como los desees de quilling puedes realizar infinidades de modelos decorados de maneras diferentes.

Próximamente estaré haciendo modelos diferentes para compartir con todos ustedes.

De esta manera finalice este bonito corazón decorado con apliques de quilling, ideal para obsequiar en este venidero San Valentín, el cual realicé en cartonaje combinado con la técnica de quilling.
