Archer Koi Decorative Figure in 2D Quilling Technique [Eng/Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I bring you a new work of art. I wanted to make a decorative 2D pendant inspired by the card Archer Koi using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un colgante decorativo en 2D inspirado en la carta, Archer Koi en la técnica de quilling.

To do this, cut some strips of white and red cardstock to the required length and width.

• I started by taking 3mm wide red strips, glued several together to form a long strip, rolled it up with the quilling needle until I reached the end of the strip, removed it from the needle, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to form a semi-open circle. Shape it into a teardrop shape. This will be the body of the fish.

• To make the tail, I made two open circles with 3mm wide white quilling tape. I shaped each of these circles with my fingers, as you can see in the image, and joined both pieces with extra-strong white glue.

Para realizar este trabajo corte de cartulina color blanca y roja algunas tiras de papel del largo y ancho requeridas.

• Comencé tomando cintas de color rojo de 3mm de ancho, pegué varias para formar una cinta larga, enrollé con la aguja para quilling hasta llegar al final de la cinta, saqué de la aguja solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo semi abierto. Proceso a moldear en mismo en forma de gota. Este será el cuerpo del pez.

• Para realizar la cola, realicé dos círculos abiertos con cinta para quilling de color blanca de 3mm de ancho, cada uno de estos círculos los moldee con los dedos tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, uni ambas piezas con pega blanca extra fuerte.

• Using red and white tape 2 mm wide, I made two more small pieces, creating two white circles and one red circle, which I flattened with my fingers.

• Once all the pieces were ready, I glued them together to form the fish.

• I took some white cold paint and applied details to the body of the fish.

• Then, using red cold paint, I added other details to the tail and other parts of the fish.

• Con cinta de 2mm de ancho color rojas y blancas realicé dos pequeñas piezas más, realizando dos círculos blancos y uno rojo, estos los aplane con los dedos.

• Listas todas las piezas procedí a pegarlas para formar el pez.

• Tomé pintura al frío de color blanca y apliqué detalles en el cuerpo del pez.

• Luego con pintura al frío color roja, realicé otros detalles en la cola y otras partes del pez.

• Using black cold paint, paint other marks on the piece.

• I made a final open circle in white to create the last fin of the fish, stuck it in the right place, and added some details with red paint.

• To make the eye, using a circle ruler, draw a small circle with a pencil and cut it out with scissors.

• Finish by making some pieces with a few pieces of plasticine, as you can see in the images. I glued the piece of white circular cardboard and placed it where the eye goes.

• And that's how we finished this decorative 2D character that I made, inspired by the character from the card “Archer Koi”.

• Con pintura negra al frío, pinte otras marcas en la pieza.

• Realicé un último círculo abierto color blanco para llevar a cabo la última aleta del pez, la pegué en el sitio correspondiente en ella también realicé algunos detalles con pintura roja.

• Para realizar el ojo, con una regla para círculos, dibuje en una de las medidas pequeñas con un lápiz un pequeño círculo y recorte con una tijera.

• Finalice haciendo unas piezas con algunos trozos de plastilina como pueden observar en las imágenes, pegué del trozo de cartulina circular blanco y coloqué donde va situado el ojo.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este personaje decorativo en 2D que elabore, inspirado en el personaje de la carta "Archer Koi".
