‎The story gives it a special nuance, probably this trifle was titled "Für Theresa", a copying error immortalized it as "Elise". Perhaps it was a tribute to a pupil, a gesture of admiration or simply a moment of pure inspiration. The truth is that Beethoven never published it, in fact it was published 40 years after his death by the musicologist Ludwig Nohl, and its popularity was practically immediate due to its beauty and simplicity that tempted every piano aficionado to play it.

En esta semana no les traigo simplemente una obra más, diría incluso que se trata de la melodía más reconocible de la historia del piano, pues "Para Elisa" ha trascendido innegablemente los límites del tiempo y la cultura. Puede que seas un melómano empedernido o por otro lado alguien que apenas consume música en general, no importa, sin duda ya la habrás escuchado, e incluso sin saber su título o quién la compuso, no te será extraño encontrarte a ti mismo tarareándola, al menos su tema principal.
‎ La historia le da un matiz especial, probablemente esta bagatela fue titulada “Para Teresa”, un error de copia la inmortalizó como “Elisa”. Quizás fue un tributo a una alumna, un gesto de admiración o simplemente un momento de inspiración pura. Lo cierto es que Beethoven nunca la publicó, de hecho fue publicada 40 años después de su fallecimiento por el musicólogo Ludwig Nohl, y su popularidad fue prácticamente inmediata debido a su belleza y sencillez que tentaba a todo aquel aficionado al piano a tocarla.
