En lo alto, los de casi siempre pulen sus armaduras, el Arsenal lidera la clasificación con 21 puntos de 21 posibles, secundado por varios gigantes: Bayern Múnich, Real Madrid y compañía se han dejado algunos rasguños por el camino; se nota la fatiga de tantos frentes; nadie es invencible.

La zona caliente, la de infarto, es donde late el verdadero drama de la Champions, con varios equipos luchando por esa última llave de octavos: Barcelona, Sporting, City, Atlético... La última jornada promete noches de insomnio en esos vestuarios, donde además juegan las variables del resultado del otro, puntos, goles. Más abajo está el adiós, el de esos equipos que ya sueñan con la Europa League o, simplemente, con empezar de cero, nada que este torneo no perdona; la Champions es así de cruel y de hermosa.

The hot zone, the heart-stopping one, is where the true drama of the Champions League beats strongest, with several teams fighting for that last key to the round of 16: Barcelona, Sporting, City, Atlético... The final matchday promises sleepless nights in those locker rooms, where the variables of the other match's result, points, and goals also come into play. Further down lies the farewell—for those teams already dreaming of the Europa League or, simply, of starting from scratch. This tournament forgives nothing; the Champions League is that cruel and that beautiful.
