Grandma's Tomato Plants and Flower Issues.

Hello Hivers... Welcome to my Blog🤝
How have you been? I'm writing about the challenges grandma faced, with her tomato plants. Two months ago, grandma Planted tomato seeds at the backyard garden and despite the rich soil, the plants faced an unexpected challenges. Producing flowers was a big issue.

Three weeks ago, one of our neighbors came around to get some vegetables from our garden. When she stepped in, she met grandma looking livid and she asked, why are you looking troubled?

Grandma, explained the plight of the tomato plants and our neighbor helped out, by telling grandma the plants needs a balance of warmth, light and care

A few adjustment was made and the plant was moved to a sunnier spot and ensured the plant receive consistent moisture without drowning into water, they use a fertilizer lower in nitrogen, focusing on the phosphorus that encourages blooming.

After few days, buds began to form at the leaf node, grandma watched in surprise as the yellow flowers began to come out. It was a thing of Joy.

Last week, the tiny green tomatoes began to form, grandma imagined the tomato plants once silent, now boasted so quick

Grandma kept nurturing her tomato plants everyday, she can't wait to taste the fruits of that which she has laboured for.

I also have tomatoes and bell peppers in my little garden. In this economy, growing these things will go a long way.

Tomatoes also enjoy a lot of calcium and potassium. We've found that burying banana peels and crushed egg shells in the nearby soil helps a lot with our yields.
