Taking advantage of the beautiful opportunity this community offers to freely share our creations, I would like to share a sonnet that was once written in response to someone who questioned the title of an old book project titled Under the Loneliness That Burns Me. DO YOU ASK WHY MY LONELINESS?

Loneliness is the blood that spills
through the gray arteries of my childhood,
it is my story and your zero tolerance
for the truth I shout. Who notices?

How much silence fits in the space
that exists between who I am and who you would like.
If I have never crossed borders,
if you are reluctant to authenticity,

if you amputate my voice and my thoughts
so much that living hurts, I am not lying to you:
dying of loneliness is only the tip

of an iceberg navigating through complexity.

If I don't recognize myself in the mirror...

Hola, amigos de #freewriters. Aprovechando la hermosura oportunidad que brinda esta comunidad de compartir libremente nuestras creaciones quisiera compartirles un soneto que en su momento fue escrito para responder a alguien que cuestionó el título de un antiguo proyecto de libro titulado Bajo la soledad que me calcina. Deseo lo disfruten y compartan conmigo sus consideraciones. Saludos.

¿PREGUNTAS POR QUÉ MI SOLEDAD?

Soledad es la sangre que se vierte
por las arterias grises de mi infancia,
es mi historia y tu cero tolerancia
a la verdad que grito. Quién advierte

cuanto silencio cabe en el espacio
que existe entre quien soy y quien quisieras.
Si nunca he traspasado las fronteras,
si a la autenticidad eres reacio,

si me ampútas la voz y el pensamiento
tanto que vivir duele, no te miento:
morir de soledad solo es la punta

de un iceberg navegando en lo complejo.
Si no me reconozco en el espejo...
¿Acaso eso responde tu pregunta?
