Greetings, Ladies of Hive friends.

My mornings begin with the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I prepare it to drink myself in the morning and to make my son's latte.

Once I leave the house and head to work, I also start with coffee. There's something I can't explain about writers and coffee. I think there are extremely few meetings between writers, or writers and editors, where coffee isn't involved.

Every morning, before starting work, I head to a coffee shop where several writer friends also go.

The first thing we do is order a good coffee. Then the day begins.

The great thing about being a writer and editor is that most of the work can be done anywhere. So there are days when, instead of going to the publishing house, I stay there, working in the café.

So, @sacra97, my mornings begin and sometimes continue with coffee.

And it's not even that I drink a lot of coffee. The conversation and the possibility of meeting up with some of my friends are more important than the mere act of drinking coffee.

The coffee, the one from the café, is an excuse to go there. They are the main reason.

Ah, my morning coffee is essential. Without that morning coffee, I couldn't consider myself a lucid person for the rest of the day.

In fact, I don't recommend anyone approach me if I haven't had that coffee that I start my mornings with.

Mis mañanas comienzan con el olor al café recién colado. Lo preparo para tomarlo en la mañana y hacerle el café con leche a mi hijo.

Una vez que salgo de la casa y me voy al trabajo también inicio con café. Hay algo que no puedo explicar entre los escritores y el café. Creo que son extremadamente pocas las reuniones entre escritores, o escritores y editores, en las que no medie el café.

Todos los días por la mañana, antes de comenzar a trabajar, me dirijo a una cafetería en las que también acuden varios amigos escritores.
Lo primero que hacemos es pedirnos un buen café. Luego es que comienza el día.

Lo bueno de ser escritora y editora, es que la mayor parte de trabajo se puede hacer en cualquier lugar. Por tanto hay días en que en lugar de ir hasta la editorial me quedo ahí, trabajando en la cafetería.
Por tanto, @sacra97, mis mañanas comienzan y a veces continúan con el café.
Y ni siquiera es que tome mucho café. Es pesa más la conversación y la posibilidad de encontrarme con algunos de mis amigos que el mero hecho de tomar café.
El café, ese de la cafetería, es una excusa para ir hasta allá. Ellos son la principal razón.

Ah, el café de la mañana sí es imprescindible. Sin ese café de la mañana no podría considerarme una persona lúcida en lo que reste de día.
De hecho, no le recomiendo a nadie que se me acerque si no me tomo ese café con el que inicio mis mañanas.
