The Pictures, The Memories
Some of the memories from our school days could emanate from unfortunate circumstances. In the midst of them, we developed resilience and prevailed, which etched unforgettable moments in us. As opposed to this, other memories stem from those beautiful, celebratory moments. We hardly forget these kinds of things because of how much joy they give us and the positive energy that surrounds them.
It is said that pictures speak more than words. They seem to create a trigger in the memories we have held dear. I look at some of the pictures from my school days and I see the moments come back before my eyes. I wouldn't want to lose such pictures. I believe one day; for a purpose like this, the pictures will serve.

The pictures tend to draw my mind to memories of my school days. They feature the beautiful and difficult times. In both however, I find moments that live unforgettable in my mind. It was not an easy ride, the memories hold a record of those days and the journey it took to get here beyond the certificate I hold.
In respect to these memories, I look back and find a picture; two I guess, that tend to capture the idea of these memories. Above is a picture from one of my last days in school with my course mates. Of course, that was not all of us, but it holds the memory as much as possible. The people captured in that image were products of resilience and determination to succeed.
We were writing our final examinations when the picture was taken. A look at it reminds me of the people we scaled the obstacle together. People who were strangers to me and ended up becoming ones I would know and acknowledge for the rest of my family. It is not just a picture, but a representation of mates and friends who endured together.

How about this other picture? This one means a lot to me as well. Maybe a lot more. It represents my family (level) in fellowship. Therein are some of the greatest relationships I have ever built in this life. I remember well how it started for me in the fellowship, and I got to know them as time went by and I will say, these are wonderful people.
Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like in school if I had not come across some of them. There was this bond and friendship that was created which I remain ever grateful for. Some have come through for me in necessary times, even up to this day. This goes to tell of how much this family means to me.
The picture was taken during our last days in school and the fellowship. Thankfully, we took this picture. Though we remain in communication but having something like this stands as a monument, a great reminder of the old days. It is a reminder of how we prevailed together, in love, encouragement and fellowship.
Images are mine.
Wow..amazing memories here through the pictures...sometimes I just wonder how boring it would have looked if there was nothing like photography to capture some beautiful moments
Yeah, thank you. Honestly, it would have been boring. Memories wouldn't be communicated as they should.

Images helps preserve memories we hold dear, I think students departmental group picture is a student culture, I also have a similar image that I have been holding onto for years.
Yes, that's true about images. That is a nice culture indeed and we all need to have something like that to keep hold for memories sake.
