Pets Dreamworld
Pets are cute, especially when they fall asleep. Remember that beautiful cat or dog while sleeping? For those who are used to pets and very much close to theirs, for them it could feel like a child sleeping. And you know the beautiful atmosphere that brings, drawing smiles on your cheeks. That's how it could feel like with pets.

I've seen pets like cats and dogs taking their naps, or enjoying a deep sleep. One that your distractions could even seem inconsequential. I've tried to wake some in this state but they remained resolute on having their sleep and peace. Could they be dreaming? And what could they be dreaming about? I've thought of that a few times, not really considering it enough though.
This prompt then led me to do that. Some of the memories of watching these pets asleep came to mind. I also had to go and do some quick research on the matter of dreams; whether pets really dream in their sleep. Some of their actions suggest they dream and yes, they do dream. I found out that like humans, when we shut our eyes to sleep, a similar process happens with them.
Pets do dream. What they dream of, one can't tell really. But it's mostly what I agree to be an extension of their predominant activities and the activities during the day. For a cat, it could be something like chasing a rat, for a dog it could be like playing with another dog and so on. They express these outwardly even as they experience them in their sleep.
Some of these expressions are the wagging of the tails, in both dogs and cats while asleep. It indicates they are having an exciting moment in their dreams. The dogs also twitch their paws and make movements with their eyes. Also, one that I find somewhat common is the small or little noises they make. All of these indicate the dog is dreaming and possibly having an exciting time or an adventure in their dreams.

Cats have similar actions too. They tend to move their whiskers and paws in their sleep usually in an excited state. Of course, this could be that they are having a little hunting or stalking adventure. What else could excite a cat more than that? These are outward expressions from cats I found as I researched on this, and then recalled that I had witnessed such with these pets.
Pests are lovely, and I like them. However, I have never really had one. I stayed in houses that had dogs and cats. One house had both living simultaneously. Later on in life, we had our dog as a house. It was cherished and well cared for. Maybe that made it reckless and then, it wasn't staying at home. Well, we lost it sometime later.
So, I'll say pets dream. These dreams can be sweet or horrific. Much like humans do, and sometimes as a response to our activities in the day, the same can be said of pets. Though the biological processes differ.
I think they do dream, sometimes btge way they move and act while sleeping proves that.
Yes, I agree with that.
Thank you.
I think same too, but I wonder if they bother to understand or interpret dreams 😃
I wonder oo 😄
Maybe they need one help for that.
I agree with you that pet also dream just like humans and I've witnessed it myself on several occasions.
Yes, they do. Glad you share my view too.
Thank you.
There was a day my dog was sleeping and I was trying to drag a chair to sit, i don't know what really happened but the dog woke up with speed and ran outside the house like she was chased by something.
I have not really, taken my time to study animals asleep, but I am certain they dream too. I mean they have brains and memories, what's left? Hehehe
That dog must have been in a terrifying dream and you heightened the experience. Haha.
Yes, they should dream as well. They have brains and memories and nervous system, exactly.
Sorry about losing your pet dog. I think it's possible that they dream just like humans.
Thank you. Yes, I think they do since they have the necessary senses ot system that can trigger that.
Thank you for the support.
You are welcome 😊
I agree with you, Pets are really homely when they are cared for. They will behave like humans, and why not? They have brains and reproduce as well. What's more? we are talking about dreams here. They dream, and just like humans, their dreams could be good, bad, or ugly. It's a pity you lost the dog.
Yeah, that's true. You've mentioned everything necessary to make us see why these beautiful beings dream also which I agree with.
Thank you.
