Into The Web 3 Space

When you talk digital today, the conversation isn't far from being about Web 3. Even if it's not, it still somehow finds a way to slip into such a conversation, possibly taking over. That's to tell of how Web 3 has become a revolution in the digital space. Since its inception into time, it has certainly gained mass traction and involvement, especially among the younger age groups, and anyone well into the digital world.

Unlike the previous such technology; Web 2 technology, Web 3 came as perhaps an upgrade and appeal to the desires of many. Like when you talk of the decentralised nature of it. The Web 3 technology allowed the distribution of data across networks other than being controlled by one entity, which Web 2 does, thereby appealing more to digital enthusiasts.

My journey into the Web world was not very enthusiastic at first. It all began with crypto some years back. Thankfully for this guy back at home, he introduced my friends and me, which we eventually got into after several encouragements from the individual. Well, it was all casual when I started engaging, but later it became a thing to take seriously. Today, it has somehow played a role in some of my online and digital engagements, even outside the crypto or Web 3 world, to an extent.

The Web 3 space is large, and one can't say they've learnt it all as new things keep evolving within that space. After a little touch with crypto, some losses and gains, came airdrops. At first, I didn't venture into this aspect of the Web 3 world, but slowly and reluctantly I stepped in later. Digital things entice me so it was kind of a move to make. If there was an aspect of Web 3 that could have made me leave the whole space and see it as a scam, this was it. Many stories of how many benefited from it, but not really so for me. Perhaps I didn't engage much.

The world we live in today, where everything is digital and even things that were not traditionally digital have been made so, you could expect that scams would be heightened and more empowering. You wouldn't blame those who saw crypto as a scam. Though some of those projects and airdrops were indeed scams, the crypto space isn't a scam. Not when we have crypto today being used as a means of transactions. Sadly, it's not a thing here in my part of the world, it's a reality nevertheless.

The advancement of Web 3 will keep on with time. Talk about decentralisation, blockchain integration, cryptocurrencies, AI-driven automation, Web 3 will keep on growing and advancing, gaining more ground and engagements. I'm still learning and finding out more as it relates to the Web 3 space, and that led me to Hive, which suddenly took a special place in my Web 3 life. The Hive blockchain I'll say revolutionise Web 3 blockchain technology in a way so wonderful and unimaginable.

My Web 3 journey has been strengthened and more empowered by the engagement in the Hive space. Coming to find out about this technology made it more intriguing, realising what the world of Web 3 and blockchain holds in place, for now and the future. And really, it's a future I'll want to be a part of, continually, till I give up the digital and web 3 space. Well, that I'm yet to know, haha.
