Daily Well-Being Routines
The things we tend to do, daily, momentarily and consistently have the tendency to shape our lives. These daily "normalities" are what we can refer to as "rituals"; defining the things we almost never fail to do, consciously or even unconsciously. They have this such place in a person's life that they are always found expressing themselves. Some of these things are built through conscious efforts, and some are developed unconsciously. Nonetheless, they all become rituals at the end.
Some of these daily rituals or routines can make so much to a person's growth and improvement in life, be it health wise or any other aspect. One thing is clear, there's a benefit it comes with. And that is the more reason these routines are engaged with.
My life I'll say is a mix of consistent and inconsistent daily rituals. Well, I guess they're not rituals if they're not consistent and daily, huh? I put it in such a mix as I find some of the things not done daily still holding some impact. Some are things I wish to be engaged in or with daily but then, for some reasons I don't get to. Let's say like jogging. At some point in my life it was a daily ritual, however with time and engagements it slowly diminished. I wouldn't count it among though.
I believe in the balance of my spirituality and health well-being. If there's anything that keeps me moving for the day and motivated well enough is having a connection to my spirituality—connecting in devotion and prayers in the morning before setting out for the day. I find it highly beneficial to any aspect of my life, and whatever I'll be doing for that day.
Some daily form of clean up is something not to lacking from my routines. From cleaning myself to cleaning the environment, it adds a lot to my day. I can have it very uncomfortable if by a certain time I've not yet taken my bath and cleaned up the place. Activities would seem not not be moving well for me. And when I speak of keeping a place clean, I add proper organisation of the space also. When a space is well organised, I find it productive to my work and mentally soothing as well.
Beyond this, I engage in my online activities, go get some necessary things to prepare something to eat, and later I go out a little in the evening for some fresh air. Working tirelessly during the day, this time is very beneficial for me. I use it to take in the goodness of the natural atmosphere. On some days I would take a walk away from my surrounding, while some other days I'll move around while sticking to my surrounding area.
Of course, there are days when I don't get to engage in some of these routines. Some are however a must do for me. There are days where I get overwhelmed and can't do enough of the necessary cleaning. Other days I might not be privileged to go on my walk or strolling for some fresh air. Such days I withdraw back to something within the house, let's say watch a movie, or just resting or rather caught up in some unfinished work. Nevertheless, they are some challenges to these routines of mine.
This is my entry for the Healthy Bees weekly prompt, week 8.
