Are Ghosts a Thing?

I've watched several movies and heard several things, which makes the subject of ghosts in our world not an oblivious thing to me. Some traditional and local movies have tried their best to portray the subject of ghosts, involved in our human world. Even foreign and international movies explore this subject, and some have delivered masterpieces in this regard. But yes, we can say that's fiction, since in most cases they are.

There are stories though, about people having encounters with what we call ghosts. While we could invalidate these stories, there's more to them than meets the eye. Especially in my part of the world, the supernatural is a thing. Some things are beyond this human world and our understanding, and that could point to the possibility of something coming from this supernatural space that we can hardly explain.

The supernatural and the realities surrounding them might not be explained by science, but it also opens up possibilities, in case it's discarded as myths and impossibilities, or created realities due to hallucinations or any scientific explanation that could be given. While I might not have had an explicit experience in this regard, the experiences of other people beg for consideration if ghosts are a thing or not.

I'll say that we can't discard the presence of ghosts in our world. Beyond the fact that I come from a place where the supernatural is regarded, little unexplainable things point to this is something and not just nothing. What can we say about people who have said severally they had experiences where their loved ones showed up in the physical world, physically or by some whispers?

If I were to feel a weird movement in my house or like someone in it, believe me, it won't be a funny experience. Most horror movies I've watched and many that involved ghosts are horrific and terrifying. So, don't blame me when it doesn't look funny. Besides, who would have that and still feel alright about the whole situation? Should I just see things moving in my house against Newton's Laws of Motion and still find it okay?

Don't be surprised if you find me casting and binding. Haha. The point is, it wouldn't be a situation to fold my hands and just watch. If this were a familiar person’s ghost, trying to speak or relate a message or something to me, then it might be worthy of taking time to note. It could be a whisper, or something in that line. But when it would involve some sort of violent movement and funny occurrences, that wouldn't look good.

Whatever the case or experience, the thing is that we can somehow perceive the activities and presence of ghosts in our physical world. We're told that sometimes, they come looking for someone or trying to send a message. In most cases, it's said they do some of these things when their spirits are restless in the underworld until a thing is done or a message is passed. I would prefer that the dead; ghosts have no business with the living. But these things happen.
