Life Painting Demo

Today was a big step for me, i participated in my very first life painting demo. It was both exciting and a little nerve wracking stepping into this space for the first time, with the live model in front of me and an audience observing the process.

What struck me most was how different it felt to paint from life versus a photo. Capturing the energy, the subtle shifts in posture, and the real-time light made me see things in a whole new way. I had to let go of perfection and focus more on gesture, flow, and the emotion of the moment.

There were definitely moments of struggle, but also moments of real connection with the paint and the subject. It was humbling but also inspiring.

I learned a lot, and I’m already looking forward to the next session. Grateful for the experience and the support from everyone who was there.
