We are living in an era where everyone intensifies their struggle for the big pie. The stakes are never enough until nothing is left to be spent. At one point I watched a millionaire sink in the ocean of tears and gloom in the quest of making ends meet but given the fact that human wants are insatiable, it's never enough even to the richest of all time.

You will never lose until greed sets in. Financial scam has become a norm in our society with everyone fighting never to fall prey to this societal decadence. However, we can deduce that 3 out of every 5 grown individuals have been financially scammed perhaps although all may not be contingent upon greed.

Consequently, it's no longer business as usual harassing people with guns or other deleterious objects in order to cart away their valuables. Contrarily, we have observed the surge in technology weighing against the reason for its discovery but this isn't the issue given to the fact that every invention must serve two purposes.

Folks fall to different forms of shenanigan. Irrespective of one's social status, we can't dissipate the fact that the underscored menace can't play in the background if measures aren't put in place. However, here comes the question: what could prompt scamming? What could someone do in order to evade being scammed?

The above challenges is what this article tends to address in the phase of reality since the underscored issue is a global or general problem that affect at least 3 out of every 5 adult from the hypothesis I carried out. Before diving into the questions above, it'll be helpful and very much okay to know why people engage into this social menace (scam) The insatiability of human wants will always push greedy people into different forms of such practices. Nonetheless, all boils down to greed as one can never be satisfied with an overtime pay if his salary is never enough.

Why People Get Scammed.

There are several reasons why people get scammed of their finances, and this isn't far from: ignorance, greed and laziness. Let's have a clue of what this' all about from the explanations below.

Ignorance.

Ignorance, they say, is never an excuse. Many people have fallen to scam given their inability to easily dictate what's either true or false from their perpetrators. There are many fake platforms built with the help of the internet and highly optimized malwares that have the power to hack into people's privacies and get them ransacked.

For instance, the world largest exchange (Binance) was hacked back in 2022 with some other exchanges and crypto networks like Ethereum which have also suffered the same fate. There is a high level of uncertainty in the world and when people aren't prepared for these uncertainties, the inevitability of falling to the underscored social decades becomes more real.

Greed.

This has been one of the major reasons people fall to evil perpetrations. It is apparent that this individual trait can make you lose evm in real deals. I could remember countless times I lost money in future trading given to greed. I wasn't scammed but I lost money on the course.

In another instance, I could also remember a time last year when I lost about $600+ to a high profit promising website where you make twice your capital in a couple of weeks. The question I later asked after losing my stake was; where was this money invested that generated such a volume of profit within days? However, it was already late since I've lost the money. In essence, greed as a major contributing factor to being scammed has brought many to ruin countless times.

Laziness.

This is another contributing factor to being scammed. When people get so dull that they're always looking for who to trust with their funds, the peril of scam becomes inevitable because according to Abraham Lincoln the sixteenth president of the US, he said:

The proportions of this rebellion were not for a long time understood. I saw that it involved the greatest difficulties…

So when people get so lazy that they can't try new things on their own, take a good measure of personal risk or improve themselves, the possibility of absconding scam becomes very difficult. We have to come to the fact that laziness is the mother of failure and as a matter of urgency, decimate it with every deployable tactic irrespective of who's involved.

How to Evade Getting Scammed.

There are definite measures that could be deployed in order to avoid getting into this mess by respective individuals, let's observe a few of them below.

Trust Yourself.

There is a high level of distrust contemporarily which isn't far fetched from our individual differences. However, it's very important you trust yourself because it's only you that can't disappoint yourself irrespective of what the case may be.

I have observed this among people saying; I'm not good at this or that, I can't do it, it's so difficult and all that. On the contrary, I have observed that the body can always adjust through natural and default factors based on personal consensus towards permitting it to align to those scenarios.

However we act based on possible measures, impossibilities are only as a result of what we feel is unrealizable but nothing is impossible when we trust we can do those things. The possibility of being scammed will start decreasing once we learn to ourselves.

Improve Yourself.

Personal improvement is paramount given to the fact that you are your highest and greatest asset anywhere in the world. Personal improvement could be in the form of acquiring new skills you feel is important to you, advancing your education if need be and training yourself to align with any measure.

Once we start improving ourselves through the above mentioned routes, we minimize the proclivity of getting scammed by anyone despite what's involved.

Be Satisfied With What You Have.

This has been one of the major reasons why people get scammed. Insatiability will always be a societal concern but the far we could go in life greatly depends on how we deal with this issue of insatiability. The fact about life is that new things will keep emerging and there will always be need for more even at the assumption that you have it all.

Temperament is very much important in a world of scarcity and lack. However, when we get satisfied with the little we have, it becomes impossible for us to be scammed except in rare cases. In essence for us to live scam free, we must be satisfied with the little or much at our disposal.

Conclusion

There is a high level of ambiguity in life, although we may not fathom it all but allowing ourselves to get scammed will cause a greater measure of devastation than we could ever imagine.

However, the application of the prospects above in respect to avoid being scammed will guide us in living a satisfied life because it's not easy going through unwanted excruciation in Life, and according to Abraham Lincoln, he said:

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years'.

Thank you for going through.
