Computer + Video Games (December 1990)

Computer & Video Games had a few slight name variations over the years (Computer + Video Games here) but it was the longest continuously published video game magazine that I am aware of. It covered both consoles and computers though coverage seemed to be heavier on the computer side, particularly during the 80s (though I suppose there was more to cover). The December 1990 issue includes:
- News - Ocean announces Simpson's license; Sega's new Game Gear; Bullfrog to end relationship with Electronic Arts; U.S. Gold acquires license to Godfather; Sega makes agreement with U.S. Gold to publish Sega coin-ops on home computers; Sim City announces new scenario disks for Sim City; MicroProse to release Gunship sequel Gunship 2000; and more.
- The Challenge - The editors compete in a Domark/Tengen related challenge with games including Stun Runner and Badlands.
- Amazing Turtles Movie Card Offer - An offer for free Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie cards from Topps.
- Previews - A look at upcoming games including Rainbow Islands (MegaDrive), Dick Tracy (ST, Amiga, PC, Spectrum, GX4000), The Hunt For Red October (Spectrum, Amstrad, C64, Amiga, ST, PC), Navy Seals (ST, Amiga, GX4000, C64GS, Spectrum), Batman (PC Engine), Line of Fire (Spectrum, Amstrad, C64, ST, Amiga), Sim Earth (PC, Amiga, ST), Ranx (ST, Amiga, PC), Shadow of the Beast (C64GS), Total Recall (Spectrum, Amstrad, C64, ST, Amiga), Adidas Football (ST, Amiga), Klax (Game Boy), Wrath of the Demon (Amiga, ST, PC), Hard Drivin' (MetaDrive, Lynx), and Dynamite Duke (MegaDrive).

- Yob's Mailbag - Letters from readers about the Konix Multisystem, Thunderforce III, Amiga vs. Atari ST, The Amiga 500, and more.
- High Scores - Reader submitted high scores for tons of games on the Sega Master System, MegaDrive, Nintendo, Game Boy, PC Engine, Commodore 64, Atari ST, Amiga, Spectrum, and Amstrad.
- The Gallup Charts - At the top of the list is Guardian Angel with other notable entries in the top 20 including Rastan, Paperboy, Back to the Future II, Salamander, and Road Blasters.
